Wow, today was a very frustrating day for me. Been trying to get back into this. Last couple of days I would do the daily heroic solo. Well I go to do it today and it a level 30 and its locked for me. I have the DLC, just haven't played it. Anyways, so that was a bummer I ran through some strike missions none the less. Then grind out to get my vanguard rep up to level 2 (I know, I know. I haven't been playing this much) anyways get to level 2 and look to get some better armour. Now I need something called a Vanguard Commendation to purchase chest armour (I have the Achlyophage Symbiote helmet.)

Blah, more upset that I can't do that Daily heroic than I am the commendation but none the less. I looks like I still have a long way to go.

So far, I have a level 11 warlock and a level 10 titan. I can't really get into the single player that much, but I'm trying to build the ultimate PvP machine to play with my buddies. Can I get some pointers in terms of what build I should work with / what to do in terms of armor and weapons?

Kind of mad that Xur has a symbiote helmet that has 6 more light than my symbiote helmet of the same name.

It truly was a Xurmas for me today.

Upgraded Suros, Ice Breaker, Thorn. Bought Symbiotic helmet, Bought new Truth, bought a helmet engram, turn out to be a Titan helmet.

I was able to shard my old truth for two exotic shards, my old knucklehead helmet for another one so I didn't have to buy any extra shards.

Definitely a good exotic day for me.

Upgraded Icebreaker and two Armamentariums for each of my Titans. Bought 3 exotic engrams and got one Titan helmet out of it, sharded the two Hunter helmets. Bought the Ruin Wings as well, though not sure how often I'll ever wear them (if at all).

Bought the Urn as well.

I did the Nightfall yesterday with Stillmatic Kyd and DanH35. I still have to do it again on my alt, along with the Weekly but I honestly don't know if I want to go through that again. That was brutal.

I'm going HAM on Xur when I get home today. I'm probably one of the few Warlocks who doesn't have Voidfang Vestments (have HoPF) so I'm gonna grab those, upgrade Icebreaker, Suros, Thorn, & Sunbreakers, and buy an Engram or two.

Also for anyone trying to get through those Eris bounties where death resets your progress, The Dark Beyond mission on the Moon is still a great place to get those done. Choose level 9, get to the part where the door opens and a bunch of Thralls & a Knight come out, waste the Thralls (DON'T KILL THE KNIGHT!), jump back to orbit, rinse repeat til done.

upgraded one of my Icebreakers, one suros, and Armamentariums for my titan. Bought the hunter helm Xur had and sharded the old version I had.

I bought like 8-9 of the helmet engrams(I had over 250 motes of light)
ended up with a few new exotic helmets for the titan and Warlock. also ended up with 3 Third eyes hunter helmets. kept the best one and sharded to other 2 plus the old version I had.

now need to farm glimer for the first time ever.

I really don't like not being able to solo the weeklies/nightfall. Getting a team together just for those is time consuming.

Can you trade in a helmet to Xur and get the better version? A friend was telling me I should be able to trade my symbiote in for Xur's version....
