got another Hard Light from the first raid chest. got shards/energy with my other character.

from the nightfall/weekly
got Helm of Saint-14 from nightfall on my titan.
got gjallarhorn from night with my Warlock.
just got 6 strange coins with my hunter.
plus the +9 coins per character.

also got a legendary engram primary weapon which ended up being an auto rifle(i think a FWC one). it doesn't look that good though.

last night finished up the raid on 2 characters(well one didn't beat crota).
got boots for my Warlock, gauntlets for my Hunter. also got the sniper from killing Crota.

Some general advice: Eris lets you buy class items for other classes, so you only need to level her for one char.

I did the Nightfall on my 2 characters, got No Land Beyond and 12 ascendant shards.

Had some help carrying my two lower level characters through the nightfall and finally got my first exotic drops ever. Monte Carlo - anyone know if this rifle is any good? And Crest of Alpha Lupi for my hunter. Kind of makes up for the engram I got on my titan which was the same MG I've already gotten four times.

Maybe this game just likes to screw my Titan out of decent drops?

^ Monte is good, not great from what I hear, but currently only exclusive to PS4 so you have that going for you.

My son has been pining for this game and tonight he get's it for the firsdt night of Hannukah (along with Alien Isolation).

Tips, advice for both of us in our character builds. I am more towards the sniper he is more towards the tank.

All weapons can be used on every character. The difference in abilities has to do with grenade types, whether you like invisibility at the expense of other specials like being able to revive yourself.

Titans are the powerhouse who can punch and shoulder charge, smash the ground, etc.
Warlocks can revive themselves
Hunters can become invisible, or throw knives

There are a bunch of things I'm missing out on, but you get the idea.

Finally got a legendary chest plate. It's funny the last 10 days I've been grinding and finally getting rewards. If anyone is willing to run VoG with a first-time let me know. Still looking to do a raid.

They made it fairly quick and easy to get to 30-31, you shouldn't have much trouble. Getting to 32 however, that's going to be a grind.

Got the Vex Mythoclast a couple nights ago and it's loads of fun. Very effective in PvE. Decent in PvP. I still want the fate bringer so so the vault isn't completely useless.

So when you choose Iron Banner as your destination on the map, it has the Dark Below banner at the top, so I assume you need the DLC to play it. If that is true, then why are the new maps not in the rotation? Makes no sense.

Ran the Nightfall with my titan buddy and we both ended up getting strange coins. I said "Well, with new level exotics, coins aren't a bad thing" and go on my way. We do the weekly and the daily story. Another buddy comes on asks if I want to nightfall with him. We run it with a third.

3rd guy gets the Hunter spine gauntlets.
Buddy gets the Gally.
I look at my coins and silently curse RNGsus.
