It's Destiny. Lazy to compare it to other games and it doesn't work out.

People say BL because it's got a big co op component with leveling, lots of loot and different skills to use. The gameplay feels nothing like BL2 to me.

As for your last question... As of right now, no. But that's because FPS games lately are a bore more often than not. I'm most likely gonna get Battlefront, and having more than one console FPS just seems like overkill to me.

DESTINY BETA FAQ


Q. Hey, what is the Destiny Beta?


The Destiny Beta is your chance to play Destiny and give us invaluable data and feedback prior to launch on September 9th, 2014. The Beta will include character creation, story missions, cooperative and social activities, competitive multiplayer, and more.


The Destiny Beta is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. You can reserve a spot by*pre-ordering Destiny from participating retailers.


Q. Great! When is this glorious Destiny Beta of which you speak?


On PS4 and PS3, the Destiny Beta will begin on July 17th*at 10AM PDT.


On Xbox One and Xbox 360, the Destiny Beta will begin on July 23rd*at 10AM PDT.


The Destiny Beta will be OFFLINE for maintenance on all systems from July 21st*and July 22nd*PDT.


The Destiny Beta will close at end of the day on July 26th*PDT.


Q. Do I get something cool for playing the Destiny Beta?


Yup! Play the Destiny Beta on Saturday, July 26th, beginning at 8PM PDT, to earn an exclusive emblem for the retail version of Destiny. We’ll also be delivering some fun and unexpected surprises throughout the Beta!

On July 10th, you’ll be able to visit your profile page on Bungie.net and select the platform of your choice. For PlayStation systems, you’ll also need to select a region.


On July 17th, we’ll begin emailing PlayStation players their Destiny Beta codes.


On July 23rd, we’ll begin emailing Xbox players their Destiny Beta codes.


Destiny Beta codes will also be visible via your*Account Profile/Redeemed Codes*page, secured behind your login credentials.

Just pre-ordered a standard XB1 edition from Amazon to get my beta code. I plan to buy a standard digital copy at release. I'll wait and see how the expansions shape up before committing the money.

No i didnt. It has a spoiler tag for some reason as if its going to ruin the story or reveal some major surprise of the game, which it doesnt at all.

For some reason best buy sent me 2 beta codes. Anyone need one? My only stipulation is you have to have a blue os name, in other words a donator to this site. First to pm me gets it

There is no trading system in Destiny and Bungie has a good reason for it. They want you to earn your gear, which makes you like them a bit more.

Not sure what the true level cap is. We know 20 is it but you could go past that with Mote of Light but your still level 20. The highest level could be 50.

There is no weapon creation system which is a bit sad but you could upgrade your favorite weapons with other guns you dismantle.

I wonder if Bungie is gonna put some of the fun game modes that was in Halo.

I also find it weird that there is no racial ability. This is good in were no race is OP but still weird that they don't have no advantage over another.
