I got the hand cannon. Ive actually been hunting fatebringer too and just cant get it to drop. Hoping this gun will be able to fill the void (get it? its a void gun).

Nice. That's my hope too. I love my hand cannons. If only Hawkmoon wasn't exotic, that's the only gun I'd use. Unfortunately, most endgame content is made ten times easier with Gjallarhorn, so I don't use Hawkmoon as often as I'd like.

Hunger of Crota is the next best thing from what I've heard (don't have gjallar). Not nearly the DPS but it has the tracking and cluster bombs.

It seems that the most "exotic" guns in the game are the legendaries with burns and good perks. So basically the raid weapons that are nearly as effective as exotics.

Hunger of Crota is the next best thing from what I've heard (don't have gjallar). Not nearly the DPS but it has the tracking and cluster bombs.

It seems that the most "exotic" guns in the game are the legendaries with burns and good perks. So basically the raid weapons that are nearly as effective as exotics.

I've got the Hunger of Crota nearly maxed, and while it's good, nothing touches the Horn. Although it is useful for certain situations that call for a primary or special exotic, primarily the Icebreaker.

We ran through Crota HM last night, after it feeling so tough last week, enough that we spent most of the week trying to kill the ****er, it wasn't so bad last night. Still not easy, but it went smooth until Crota and we had issues with the sword disappearing mostly, also some Crota stuff where he quick swipes (I'm thinking that is a lag issue, related to the kneel glitch fix, so basically Crota is lag boosting). We did it though, so far I've gotten the hand cannon, the scout rifle, and the pulse rifle. One of our group got the crux, and that gun is nice, now I want it.

Hopefully Xur has heavy ammo synths this week, people are running out and tired of the exclusion zone.

I just finished up hard mode with a group and got the word of crota. I really wanted the helmet but oh well maybe next week. Still not 32 on my hunter.

I ran the vault of glass yesterday and I got the raid helmet, found verdict, and vision of confluence. I ran the weekly heroic and pulled some icebreakers from a legendary engram. I got enough shards to get my warlock to level 31 too. I am wondering what I have to do to get my character to 32? The Destiny gods smiled upon me yesterday. Probably my best day as a destiny player

I dont know if your a hunter using blink on Crota when he quick swipes you, but you cant use blink on him for the final sword kill. He will kill you. Just jump off wait for him to go down then end it.

When your not playing the raids. Do you use a Hand Cannon much doing regular gameplay? Some say the weapons you use most are the drops you will most likely get. Look at your grimore score with hand cannons, and if it is low start getting that score up to better your chances.

I dont know how accurate this is, but I do see the relation to this for the dorps I get, and some of my friends. I never get a sniper, but always hand cannons, auto rifles, scout rifles, shotguns, fusion, and rocket launchers. I use these types all the time. I looked at my score with snipers rifles, and i never reached to rank 3. Im almost there now and hoping this works so I can get the black Hammer

We've maybe died once when Crota was close, we've not killed the ogres without killing Crota besides the first time when we ran into the cursed thrall without thinking.

Before I got Fatebringer I never used hand cannons, at all. My second Crota weapon was the shotgun, my first two hard mode weapons were pulse rifles, my two least used weapons in the game are shotguns and pulse rifles. It took forever for me to get Vision of Confluence and, until Atheon's Epilogue and Fatebringer, the only primaries I used were scout rifles.

The grind is finally starting to wear on me fellas. Cut down to Nightfall/weekly on tuesday and raids on Friday. I load up to do bounties but end up shutting the system down or switching to something else.

The burnout is real.

Take it easy for a while, I was the same way so I backed off, now I can do bounties again without wanting to crawl out of my skin.

Went through the first 2 sections of Crota on hard. Feel like my luck may be turning with drops. Got both weapons, while my buddy who's doing it for the second time got only energies. Last 3 weeks that would've been me.
