Yeah, as much as I want the Lash, the lag in the Banner is so bad it's not worth it. I have way more fun with my friends just grouping up in the Crucible.

HORRIBLE rolls on the nightfall this week Omnigul with no burn plus lightswitch and juggler? Took my friends and I almost an hour. Luckily, I got Obsidian Mind for our troubles (YESSSSSS), while the other two guys got the Glasshouse and Truth. good loot for the annoyance. Both of which neither guy already has

If there's no burn on Omnigul then always have some arc to keep bringing her/his/it/whatever pain in the *** shield down. Then a Ghorn to hit for massive dmg once it's down.

Got 11 strange coins from the nightfall...rest of the team got exotic armor. Ran the normal Crota raid with some idiotic strangers. They refused to use rockets for the second knee. One of them basically ran away and hid after the death singer and got a Ghorn. After my hard run tonight or tomorrow I can see myself going back to playing this once a week.

One of them basically ran away and hid after the death singer and got a Ghorn. After my hard run tonight or tomorrow I can see myself going back to playing this once a week.

Pretty much where I'm at Rob. I play Tuesday for the Nightfalls and Friday for the Crota right up until the actual Crota fight. Until Bungie stops giving the middle finger to it's player base and actually let's us stock up on heavy synth again, we won't bother with it.

Kind of funny to see the Nightfall be Omnigul AGAIN, along with the daily being the DLC mission for the umpteenth time. Pretty clear that Bungie was full of crap when they said those that did not buy the DLC would not be left behind. Granted, if you are going to really spend some time with this game, you want the DLC, but they never should have made that statement, because it's obviously a lie. They have hit us over the head with Omnigul for the weekly strikes, the Wakening for the daily story, and especially Xur for constantly selling the AWFUL DLC exotics over and over.

I got 11 energies for my efforts in the Nightfall this morning. I have two more to run, but I don't even know if I'm gonna bother. It took us absolutely forever, and I haven't gotten jack for rewards as of late. I'm down to wanting pretty much just the Suros and Saint-14, and neither seem to want to drop for me. I'm happy playing other games until the next DLC.

Iron Banner is playing well so far. It is a great way to take your maxed out exotics into battle and really see how hard they hit. I maxed out a Thorn and my god is it a beast in IB.

IB is just a fun mode if you are 31 or 32 and its a shame that some folks at that level won't play it for various reasons. I also think the weapons I have gotten from it are some of the best legendaries in the game. Add the fact that you can reroll them and get some incredible combos makes it well worth it for me (and fun too).

Annoyed by Titan Thunder punches killing you in Crucible? Nothing better than a level 24 trying to pull it off on me at 31 in IB, not having enough power to kill me and then taking a shotgun blast to the face.

Ugh. I've pretty much stopped doing strikes because too often people just don't play, or they are ****ing awful and make me have to work twice as hard than if I would just solo the damn thing. Plus, the heroic was the one thing in the game that would be a fair challenge that you could do legitimately solo since they decided to pump up the nightfall difficulty. I get that it's a co-op game, but sometimes it's nice to just sit back and relax and do something solo
