Re: Destiny
I got the Thorn and Invective already, so I'm doing the Bad Juju bounty. For some reason I don't see the Pocket infinity or Super Good Advice bounty popping up. Do you have to do something different for those?Comment

Re: Destiny
It's random, sometimes you get it and sometimes you don't.Comment

Re: Destiny
I didn't get those two until I had gotten Bad Juju and Thorn. Actually just finished the Super Good Advice yesterday. Just have pocket Infinity and Invective left (come on Specialist/Solar Burn Nightfall)Comment

Re: Destiny
The Bad Juju is going to take me a while to complete. So I should have my hands full working on that until I get another Exotic Bounty. The Invective is really easy to complete(2-4 hours to complete), compared to the Thorn and Bad Juju.
Got my Warlock to rank 3 in under an hour. Most likely going to hit rank 5 with both my characters today.Comment

Honestly the Bad Juju won't take nearly as long to complete as you think, I think you get 75 points for killing a warlock and 25 for a Titan and Hunter, and it doesn't take away points for dying. Took me like 2 hours I think...and that was before I got decent at PvP.
The Thorn is easy too, get yourself a void shotgun and just running around with it. Word of Crota works well too since its Void.

Re: Destiny
I can confirm that The Ram is by far my favorite exotic helmet for the Warlock and warlock is my main character.
Other than when I get the purifier robes, it will probably never leave my body again.

Re: Destiny
I didn't even start the 25 strike part of it yet and forgot it had a PvP. If it took you 2 hours then all I probably need to get is 200-500 points. It should take me that long, just got to get better with the Warlock in PvP. Still not used to their moving compared to a Hunter.Honestly the Bad Juju won't take nearly as long to complete as you think, I think you get 75 points for killing a warlock and 25 for a Titan and Hunter, and it doesn't take away points for dying. I completed the Thorn bounty when j was still terrible at PvP. Took me only 3 hours to get the 500 points thanks to IB going on at the same time. Just got the Word of Crota so it should be even faster when I go for my next Thorn.Comment

Ahhhh okay, the strike part is annoying but I'm pretty sure the nightfall and weekly count as 2 or 3 strikes so you could do those over and over to get it done faster.
The Warlock is actually my favorite for PvP, super powerful when you get the hang of it. I wouldn't run Fireborn in PvP as self resurrecting outside of ToO is kinda pointless IMO. I'd use firebolt grenades, Radiant Skin, Viking Funeral and either Touch of Flame or the Double grenades and focus on a 100% discipline build. Warlocks are the best to class to make use of the strength stat as the Scorch Melee heals you and can hit from a far distance.
With this build, you become a grenade chucking tank, and even more so if you can score yourself The Ram helmet.

I'm not gonna start complementing the bounty until tomorrow. I still have to level up my 3rd character, just gets boring.Ahhhh okay, the strike part is annoying but I'm pretty sure the nightfall and weekly count as 2 or 3 strikes so you could do those over and over to get it done faster.

My Warlock discipline is 100% right now, but I've been running with Voidwalker and nothing Manscles for PvP. I have the heart of the praxic fire I can throw on. I seen a lot of sunsinger with Fireborn. It seems to work well for them. Ima try out this build once I finish IB today.Comment

Re: Destiny
Fireborn is pointless outside of pvp. Even in PvE, it's overused. I mostly only use it for nightfalls, hard mode raids, and skolas (being able to eat the essense, especially when one of your team is down, is super useful). Other than that, it's song of fire or radiant skin.
Now that I think of it, wouldn't song of fire be pretty useful in ToO. The all three of you can be chucking grenades everywhere.Comment

Re: Destiny
Honestly, for Titan, I don't think I'd even include glasshouse or eternal warrior. Glasshouse just makes blessing/weapons of light last longer; that's really only useful if you stray far far from your bubble. Eternal Warrior isn't awful, but it's main perk isn't that great. Inmost Light is mostly a pvp exotic, imo. In pve, you're much better off running Armatareum or Ruin Wings.
For Warlocks, I'd throw in Light Beyond Nemesis. Very useful in ToO, nightfalls, and skolas. It was just useless in hard mode raids, so it fell out of favor. Apotheosis Veil is good for Crota hard modeComment

Re: Destiny
Eternal is also a PVP helm, it allows you to shoulder charge and also have an unstopable smash. Glasshouse is useful on PoE, given most 35 strats involve a buble to burn a boss, the extra time is a plus.Moderator

Re: Destiny
Just got to rank 5 IB with my Hunter but I don't have enough glimmer for the Enteric Light. Not sure I have 7 and half hours just to get 10k glimmer. Not sure what to do to get these. Was thinking of doing some strikes but not sure.

Essentially pop network keys, kill all the yellows in the first part of the mission while leaving one or two red enemies alive, then wipe. Rinse and repeat. You'll get 10k in no time.Comment
