Just one day I'd like Bungie to balance the PVP weapons. Just once man. I just played a team of 3 Thorns in the Trials and we were down 2-0 but then I switched to Ice Breaker and just started quick scoping them and getting multiple head shot explosions. I'm ******* tired of Thorn man.

Btw, Skolas is much easier now, even if he takes a little longer. Got him on the second try. First try, we thought adds spawned with the poison and both mines. That was wrong, and we got overwhelmed. Second try we would fire on him unless just about everything else was dead, and even then, we limited ourselves to 2 Rockets apiece. We just did laps passing the essense, got the first mines all together. We actually got him pretty much ad close to 25% as possible without spawning second mines (I thought he was below actually, but there weren't any mines). At that point we just unloaded and killed him before we got mines.

Weird problem... not good, either

I put Destiny in my PS4 and when I try to boot it up from the XMB it tells me "no disc inserted."

There are guns that can beat the Thorn tho. I'm not gonna lie. I use it in Trials just because when ppl catch bleed they just back away unless they're agro. Then we kill them anyway.

But...Red Death can beat Thorn and stop the bleed so you can shoot aggresively. TLW will beat Thorn every time if you're good with it and hip firing. Hawkmoon is a good choice too but I wouldn't use a Hawkmoon vs a Thorn as they're both 3 shots but Hawkmoon has more bullets. And the Vex will wreck Thorn but you have to play an agro style with 1 of your guys playing support.

It's somewhat cheap considering the amount of users who use it but it's no where near as cheap as guys using Final Round snipers and wasting bullets. I actually got a message from a guy because we were using Thorn and I was running Warlock with Firebolt grenades. Apparently using your grenades and Thorn is cheap but he told it was pathetic after we beat them 5-0.

I'm just thinking. If you can play. You can play. There have been teams that I've lost too without Thorns. But the guys I normally play with, I've only lost maybe 8 matches total with them since it started.

We don't always run Thorn but I do understand your frustration man. I hate shotguns with extended range. It's just crazy if I'm at the top of the stairs and you can shotgun me from the bottom but my thing is either I switch to a Fusion Rifle with fast charge rate. Or I use a shotgun myself. Just gotta adapt if you have a Thorn.

Don't limit yourself tho bruh. I feel the same about thorn but no matter how we feel, it's not an exploit like Final Round is so fight fire with fire lol

Sidenote: The Ice Breaker strategy is a nice one. I might run that with a messenger to see how well we do. But this weeks map is a tricky sniper area.

Got the void Messenger last night! Super excited about it. My Hunter has 3/4 of the Armor and I have a run with my titan scheduled for later today. Once I get them geared up I think I will be done with Trials. Fun mode but way to stressful and I've seen some really shady stuff from people when they lose.

I could careless about Final Round. It's more so the fact that it's been the most used gun in PVP for the past two weapon updates and considering Bungie nerfed Auto Rifles into useless it's not a big surprise. When you consider the average TTK in this game is far lower than that off other twitchy shooters it's amazing that one gun can literally take away your shields as well as halt your recovery with just one body shot as well as giving you a waiting period to begin your redovery. That and the fact that unlike other guns that have far lower TTKs that are top tier such as Red Death, Hawkmoon, Mythoclast etc. Thorn bundles it all in ridiculous range (Send It increases your range and the actual hit box for Aim Assist) as well as having the aforementioned Mark of the Devourer. So yeah its not so much what counters Thorn it's the fact that Thorn does everything far too well.

The Red Death is my new favorite gun for PvP. It so much better than the thorn for me and hit like a truck. That 2 burst to the head is a monster. I don't even use the thorn any more because of this. The Bad Juju is pretty damn nice as well. Forgot that the vex was a fusion rifle, I just be missing a good amount of shots because of travel time. But it is a fun gun to use.

Lol man I get it, but it's not THAT bad. If you get hit just back away. Not to mention they can't shoot all 3 of you at once.

And I guess a lot of ppl don't care about final round but I do. It's way worse getting 1HKO'd vs actually being able to have a gun fight or a standing chance. If I get sniped by an actual head shot, I get the 1HKO, but if a guy hits my foot and I die? Nah...They took out the ability to roll Final Round on snipers because of this exploit.

Guys don't even aim with Final Round. If you peak out the corner you're a goner. If your gun is sticking out, you're a goner. Way worse than catching bleed from Thorn. Thorn will never be a 1HKO so I'm cool with getting hit by 1.

With that being said, they are gonna nerf the thorn and/or it's bleed damage eventually. They can see it's being used way more than any gun in crucible. Same way they ended up nerfing Suros Regime because people used it so much.

Yeah, I honestly didn't care before, I thought it was silly with their pricing scheme and understood why people were angry but it didn't bother me. That interview right there gets me. To be that condescending and assholish is like nails on a chalkboard.
