Yeah, I feel like their responses are so cryptic you can literally make anything of them, like they are some satirical politician. Take this response, he didn't respond by going "language barrier caused some confusion, year one exotics will be upgradable just as they were before" (no idea if that is 140 but you get the idea). Instead he says there may have been misunderstandings, not that it was right, wrong, or somewhere inbetween.


Something else confusing is level and light level, the thing I just read said that light level wasn't going away, light level will determine if you do damage to an enemy or not and missions will have a recommended light level. Huh? So what does the plain level do? And they said you will have the same level you have now in TTK so people who put in the time won't have that time be ignored, but didn't specify anything as to what "level" they meant. Will we all be level 20 for TTK, will we be at what everybody calls their "level" (34)? I don't understand why they can't just give a clear concise answer to anything.

Consider that bungie has put their foots in their mouths over and over in the past. Company policy probably tells them to never speak in absolutes until things are final.

I still would like them to be clear for once. It's a little over a month out. They should have the answers at this point.

The times they put their foot in their mouths was because they weren't giving the full truth though. It's always "here is a thing that sucks" never "here is a thing that sucks but we have all this other cool **** and even the thing that sucks is done for good reason". They might not know all the exact minutia like final stats on individual pieces of armor and such, but the main details have no doubt been known for a long time now.

I'm not saying they need to reveal everything at once, but they need to talk about slices of the game in clear and concise language. Quit dancing around details and say " this is what's going to happen with weapons", "this is what's happening with light levels", " this is what's happening with xp based levels", "this is what's happening with the story", " this is what will happen with other endgame stuff (raid, spawned patrol bosses)", "this is what will happen with PvP", etc. This still lets them release info over time, but since you release all the major details about a specific thing, we won't be left to speculate or be left near as confused.

Getting around to leveling some of the neglected/recently obtained exotics. Leveling hard light, man I get the feeling that gun is going to be fun as hell once the buff goes in.

Also leveled Hawkmoon, the recoil is pretty terrible, but man does it like to find headshots. I wonder if it actually has hidden hand as a hidden perk.

My problem leveling exotics is the 16 weapon parts (x4 I think) to max damage. I have a hard time parting with those now and I'm running out.

Well, it seems weapon parts are going away(?). They said you will no longer be sharing weapons you will be using them to improve other weapons, so if you aren't sharing them then there won't be a source for them in TTK.

No longer sharing weapons? What does that mean, I can't transfer weapons between characters? So much confusion.

I finally got Hopscotch....did maybe 8 strikes lol. The other two guys in the fireteam were pissed.
