Outside of this weekend, I would also like to get a consistent group together to run from Friday through Sunday 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM (approximately) each night.

If you or anyone has interest, let me know.

You already know I'm all in for that.

Edit: Also, they patched the 3 of coins, it works as it did before but only if you have time killing adds between uses (like for strike bosses), if you use them too quick they have a smaller effective chance.

Honestly I like doing heroic strike with them better. You get some purples too.

I'm game for doing raids most every weekend Friday through Sunday. 830pm is perfect as is right after the kids go to bed.

Little frustrated with the fragments. Did the key of Wyrding and opened the chest but did not receive the fragment. Probably won't be too hard to do it again but I'm assuming it's supposed to be a guaranteed drop?

If you got no drop I think its because you already have the key? I did the had the same thing happen to me with Akka today. So I hope that is it. Otherwise its another drop related thing that I have been screwed out of.

I think they hot fixed it today so if you already opened the named chests it wont give rewards

They are random, some have fragments, usually they also have a couple synths, a rune, and sometimes a blue engram and I got a sublime engram from one.

Man, the pvp portion of the Chaperone quest is bad for the general health of the Crucible. I'm basically forced to be incredibly selfish with heavy ammo and not really go after the enemy. I feel like just having to get a straight 100 kills with TLW in Crucible would have been a good first step instead of badly punishing players for dying.

Man, the pvp portion of the Chaperone quest is bad for the general health of the Crucible. I'm basically forced to be incredibly selfish with heavy ammo and not really go after the enemy. I feel like just having to get a straight 100 kills with TLW in Crucible would have been a good first step instead of badly punishing players for dying.

I mean you could go the slow and steady way and just equip TLW right before your team wins and get the 3%....34 wins....

As for TLW bounty. It actually teaches you high to stay alive, play range and not rush around corners for nothing TBH. You don't need heavy ammo to be effective with that quest. I rarely got heavy. I just waited around for the heavy to be used then I started getting kills again. Sure heavy helps, but it puts you in a position to be killed and that's what you don't want.

I got it in about 4/5 games when I actually came up with this strategy. Use a fusion rifle or sniper. Don't rush for the heavy unless your team is there and you have super. Plus I was also running golden gun, but my team was winning and my K/D was around 4 the whole time. I was posting K/Ds of 3.4/4...

SIDENOTE: The gunsmith weapons are bad. Meaning good. I got that HAKKE pulse rifle with the Red Death Stats. 4 bursts with full auto. Range is nice. Stability isn't bad because it doesn't shoot too fast. Haven't used it in PVP yet tho. Then I got the OMOLON Fusion Rifle with accelerated coils, max impact and the perk where it does more damage when more enemies are around. Pretty f'n sweet lol

I thought the Hakke pulse rifle I had was trash (Lyudmila) compared to The Villainy. I think the four round burst ruins them, The Villainy did more damage per bullet (even though my Hakke had glass half full and over twice the impact), it could pump out bullets just as fast, it could put more bullets into the head more consistently.

The suros scout rife was OK, just plain boring to use. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just boring. It's hard to pin down and explain, and when Jones told me that I was a little unsure how he meant, but after using it zzzzzzz.

The Hakke shotgun is good for PvP, not so much for PvE.

I meant to pick up another weapon on my third character, and could have sworn I did, but apparently I was wrong. This week I will be able to pick up all three, and might even be able to pick up the two gunsmith exotics for my Hunter and Warlock.

Picked up Hawkmoon and Ruin Wings from Xur. The hunter piece didn't look all that fantastic to me, and I already have a Light Beyond Nemesis that I need to level up.

The first part of the nightfall was tough. First try we wiped, and our third guy quit. Second try our new third guy was running stormcaller and no void weapons. And then he quit. Finally just glitched the warsat part and got a guy in with us for the rest. But maaannn. Got a 294 class item out of it though.
