Id be more upset about lack of burns on primaries if it were difficult to do nightfalls, but they just arent necessary in the current landscape of Destiny; so my outrage meter is at a 2/10 on this one lol.

I do wonder what the point of the heroic raid is other than getting light past 310. Why is the raid the only place to progress your light other than the occasional sacrificed 310 exotic? Puzzling.


In order to be 300+ for ToO IB, PVP guys must do raids. In order to have burn primaries for nightfall, PVE guys must do ToO. Bungie I see whats going on here lol.

I really wish that bungie would look at matchmaking. I am with a bunch of randoms and we get rolled in IB. Lose by like 12K, but because I am on my alt and the weekly is 13 matches with 7 wins, I stick with it. Afterwards in orbit it says they are breaking up the teams....I get dropped into another match in which I am on the losing team down 9K. I really wish there was an option to say "never" drop me in an already in progress match. I get into a game like that and I just dance around and leave.

Burn primaries are still nice for shields. I'd love a void scout rifle for wizards. And a lot of people still like doing nightfalls. The ToO adept weapons aren't coming with burns either, supposedly.

Maybe down the road sometime they'll add a way to add burns to existing weapons.

Should either have all primaries have elemental, or none (with the rare exotic). Having legendary primaries with elemental damage devalues every non-elemental damage weapon by a lot. It's not that suddenly they are worse, it's that using something with an element is a plus, and then using it even when something isn't element burn or doesn't have a shield makes sense because you want to be used to using it. It basically creates a new tier, and non-elemental legendaries are the new blues.


Anyway, ran a raid with a random, and there are those occasions when you get a person on your fireteam that makes you appreciate everybody you ever played with that isn't a complete ****wit.

Anybody doing a kings fall run tonight? I finally got to 292 light with my Titan but I'm not having any luck finding people to run with. I don't have "experience".

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of being able to "convert" weapons. Have 3 things that drop from the hard raid that you can use to make a primary solar, arc, and void.

They have to have something in mind, or it just makes zero sense to have the supercell have a burn and nothing else.

got a 308 titan chest piece(and a 304 from Oryx that i infused into my warlocks raid chest), also got a 310 zhalo supercell from Oryx. infused that into my Hung Jury to bump that to 310(already have a Zhalo).

my hunter and titan are 308 with my main raiding weapons on(Hung Jury, Black Spindle, and the raid heavy machine gun all at 310). Warlock is 306.

for my Hunter, boots are 300, chest is 308, and class armor is 309. everything else is 310.

titan is similar, but his ghost is 309.

Warlock has 300 helmet, 299 gloves, 305 boots, and 307 ghost. still need a raid run for my warlock this week.

My chars share the 310 ghost I have. They share the weapons too. Hunter and Titan are 307 and the Warlock is 306.

Snagged a telesto today (at 310 even!). Very fun gun to use.

Playing iron banner sometimes just makes me want to punch a brick wall. Let me go and get some air. Seems like I am matched against teams. I should not lead the lobby in score on my team if I don't really play IB

Silly me. I had about 8 legendary fusion rifles on Friday, thought the Gunsmith level 2 weapon for Warlocks was scout, turned them all in for weapon parts because year 1 stuff still drops the "normal" amount of parts. Now I need legendary fusion rifles....FML.

Been there, did the same thing with auto rifles because of vault space not even thinking about the Titan exotic.

trying to get back into Destiny as I havent played much since the taken king came out. I see I have alot of catching up to do with all the new weapons and armor.

Hit level 5 on my alt +5 matches. Only one drop the whole time. This is the fear I had about drops being the primary way to get loot. Still waiting on the class item, which is all I really want for my alts.

LOL I think it is a common experience that this happens. It's happened for every single one of the exotics I got from the Gunsmith. I'm on First Curse and Chaperone exotics now. Although I hear First Curse isn't worth the grind.

Got 4th Horseman to drop off Cabal Champion on Dreadnaught Patrol.

I ended up buying class items for all three, the sidearm, and that beautiful pulse rifle. Had boots drop for hunter and warlock, had a warlock bond drop long after I had already bought one. So my only drops were 2 boots and 1 class item, this is all while getting all 3 characters to level 5. Their drop system doesn't work, and it's not just bad rng, it's more like you need magical rng to get the stuff from drops.
