I ended up buying class items for all three, the sidearm, and that beautiful pulse rifle. Had boots drop for hunter and warlock, had a warlock bond drop long after I had already bought one. So my only drops were 2 boots and 1 class item, this is all while getting all 3 characters to level 5. Their drop system doesn't work, and it's not just bad rng, it's more like you need magical rng to get the stuff from drops.

Only thing I didn't get was Titan boots. I might just buy those with marks today. Everything else dropped. I'll have to level up the pulse rifle but out of the gate I was like mehhh with Nirwen's Mercy.

Honestly, since the gear is pretty average and this is supposed to be a tournament, the rewards shouldn't be RNG or even a purchase. Hit rank 4 in the tournament? Here are your boots? Achieved Rank 5 in the tournament? Here is your pulse. There should be some sort of sense of accomplishment.

Also will Bungie address Glass Needles? Seems worthless to me. I'm not even getting any different perks.

God I love this game. I am really enjoying it. Visually stunning too. Gun controls are spot freaking on.

Level 29 Titan now......I am also really enjoying the story. I am brand new to the universe but have all the content. Just working my up.

I am a scout rifle nut. Love my Fusion rifle as well as the machine gun and rocket launchers. Just a really well done FPS. Probably the best multi player shooter I have ever experienced.

I would love for future installments to see ship based dog fighting put into the game ALA Colony Wars. That would put this over the top big time.

You sure you're using them with the proper expectation of what will change?

It will change the stat roll of intellect, discipline, or strength and then the other slot that includes the gun perks or I guess it might be something like increased super energy from killing minions of the darkness for a helmet.

Nightfall rewards improvement coming tomorrow. Bungie advising players to wait until after 10am (I assume pacific but I didn't see a time) when the patch deploys to play it.

Not sure how I feel about IB now, it feel to much like a grind for no rewards. This is because they limited the loot table to only armor/weapons that being sold this week. Played about 50-70 matches across all my characters and only ended up getting the Bond as a reward. I do like that the Weekly bounties gives you 25 legendary marks. Only ran into a few problems when it came to lag but for the most it been good. Bungie really needs to work on the spawns though. IB did show us that Pulse are going to be the go-to for trials.

Is the Hung Jury good? I seen a lot of people with it and I don't have any great PvE legendaries.

Hung Jury...bought it last night after playing with Burns and a few others that had it. I had my eye on it since day one, and man it was worth every mark I paid for it.

Probably my new favorite weapon and after using it for only one day, one of my all time favorites already.

Does very nice damage, awesome sights (use the middle one), extended mags, firefly, and triple tap. Freakin incredible

I've gotten 2 warlock cloaks and the pulse rifle as drops. Got to 5 on my hunter, and 4 real quick on my titan today. Not sure how many total matches, but certainly more than I've played before. Didn't even get that good of a roll on the pulse. Maybe I'll play later if friends are on, but playing solo isn't fun at all.

For Hung Jury, it's amazing in PvE. The vendor version especially. It's the same archetype as Vision of Confluence, so there's that. Firefly is amazing for bunched enemies, especially psions, thralls, and acolytes. Triple Tap is great. It takes its already large magazine (20) and essentially adds 9 rounds per magazine if you're hitting all precision shots. It's my goto in most pve situations.

I, too, recommend Hung Jury. Second favorite scout rifle behind VOC. Although I got a random drop, a Herja-D pulse rifle, that I actually use more. 36-round magazines and precisely stable. Reloads extremely quick when I empty the magazine. That said, part of the reason I use it more is because of its 293 attack rating instead of 280. I need to upgrade the Hung Jury but getting blues >280 is extremely rare for me.

I've completely stagnated on the light level front. At 293/4 now and I can't get it any higher. The grind has just become too overwhelming to get decent blue drops. I'd have to be playing 5+ hours daily, I think, to continue upward. I suppose I have nothing left to do but get through the raid, although since I haven't done it yet, most people don't want someone without experience.

The majority of my drops are in the 260 and 270 range. I'm not sure where people find stuff to infuse to get all their gear above 300 light. I can't get any antiquated runes, either, which is hurting my ability to finish the TOM quest. This doesn't feel all that different from the "forever 29 days." I can only hope I get to raid at some point and it provides the relief I need.

The only reason I never bought hung Jury was the fact I got a Tuonela (another Omolon scout) with almost identical perks. I love that thing

Hung Jury is great. got mine to 310. use that + Black Spindle + raid heavy machine all at 310 as my main raid weapon set.

finish my 3rd character's raid.

got arms that I needed at 306, got a 310 shotgun, and an Exotic engram from one of the shade of Oryx. turned into a 310 Light Beyond Nemesis

the gloves were from my 20 shards. I didn't get anything else from Oryx(other than the normal 2 shards).

Pretty sure the only way to get over 300 currently is the raid.

I've had some blues turn into 300, but that is likely the highest they go.
