I've just been playing Crucible non stop lol. Kicking *** too. Its slowed down after 35 but I should hit 40 soon.

I'm having a really tough time getting back into this after getting back into Halo 5 - strictly due to the 30FPS limitation. I honestly feel like I'm playing a broken game.

I know that's obviously not the case, but if you make the switch you'll see it too.

Man, I really didn't think it'd happen, but I'm having a blast with this game again. I figured there was a chance after my post a couple of days ago that I'd have gotten bored again, but now I've got a couple of my buddies back into it, and we're all unanimously having fun again.

Just been taking my time leveling factions, running patrols (SO glad these have a purpose finally, I always loved running patrols for a few hours when the game first dropped, such a relaxing activity), hitting some strikes here and there, and also doing the PoE. Ran the 41 PoE with my buds last night so we could all get the last sterling treasure, and I got the third piece of Taken hunter gear. My other friend still had to run the Malok strike, so we did that with him, and I got the Hood of Malok for my Hunter which actually goes well with Glowhoo, which I could never really say for anything.

Best part was after finishing the 41 PoE, one of the chests gave me two blue primary weapons, so I figured, oh well, materials to break down. Then I looked, and they were both 314, and my highest primary weapon at that point was a 310 Hung Jury. I was quite pumped. Infused both the Hung Jury and the MIDA up to 314.

It just honestly is so refreshing to play this game more casually than in the past, yet still feel like every play session has a purpose.

Just picked this up again after over a year off due to the issues with the division. Wow. This game has changed. For the better. I have zero idea what it's going on half the time. Was patrolling for bounties then all of a sudden the land is being corrupted and I am being dead. It's actually a lot more fun after playing the division.

Same here. I played this game the other day, and I had no clue what was happening. I played the Division beta but I didn't like it enough to purchase, perhaps it will be better with future updates and price drops.

Going to try to spend some more time with this game if possible.

I bought Destiny for the Xbox on Tuesday after putting hundreds of hours in on ps4. Played to about 45 min on Tuesday, then another hour or so Thursday, finally putting in a good 8-9 hour session yesterday.

Thanks to the Spark of Light and it's boost to 25 I was able to grind to 40 and LL 277 by the end of yesterday.

Played a ton of Crucible mixed with some strikes to hit 40. Once I did, I played some IB and got destroyed, but grabbed a couple pieces of gear in the process. Then ran the heroic strike a few times. Ended up with the 4th Horseman and the ATD/8 Tarantella (exotic hunter chest piece).

I did screw up though and am really pissed about i. I'd needed 2 or 3 strange coins to get the Hawkmoon from Xur. Well I must be dyslexic because I traded coins for motes of light instead of vice versa...that could've been a game changer for me early in this process, at least in PvP. On top of it all it's the one exotic I could never get on the ps4.

But all on all I'm having a blast getting back into it. In love Halo dearly but there's something to be said for loot. The only thing I'm missing is my buddies. Running with the same crew nightly was such a blast. They've either moved on from Destiny or are still on the ps4 [emoji107]

Had fun this weekend playing PVP. Flawless in Trials and even our 5-4 match never felt sweaty. Iron Banner with the improved rewards was awesome. Got a 335 AR, that I actually like better than my DOP. Fun times, didn't even bother with The division this weekend.

I know I could probably google these questions and/or go digging through this thread, but I was hoping that some of you guys getting back into it could help me out here. I had vanilla Destiny and stopped playing around level 15 (fired it up last night for the first time and just got past that mission where you beat the gate lord and bring his head to the queen).

1) Since I already have the base game, whats the best way to get all the new expansions? I saw on the xbox store that there is a bundle with taken king, expansion I and expansion II for 40 bucks. Is that my best bet and is that everything (short of whatever future DLC they put out)?

2) Should I beat the original story missions first? I saw something that boosts you to level 25, if I do that am I going to be bored with the story missions afterwards since I'm too high level? Or does the better stuff come after the story missions anyway so it's worth it to just breeze through them?

3) Is there a good amount of PvE stuff to do after the story solo? I'm guessing that if i go into crucible i'll just get destroyed by people who have been playing for a really long time, and there isn't anyone left on my friends list playing this.

4) Its subjective, i know, but is it worth getting into this late? Some games after a certain point it feels like its just pointless to pick up since everyone is way ahead of you, or the new releases are on the horizon or the player base is dwindling.

1. Yeah, buying the full taken King set is what you need, cheapest and easiest way to get everything.

2. With TTK you get a single "spark of light" that will make one character 25 iirc, which is the minimum to play TTK stuff. You'll need to level all your subclasses so doing all the missions from the beginning is a great way to do all that. I wouldn't suggest the $30 thing that boosts your level and a subclass, at least not on your first character, you'll be skipping so much.

3. There is some solo PvE stuff, but for the raids and such you can use lfg places like Reddit fireteams and the100.io to get people to do those. Crucible there are A LOT of really ****ty players out there, you might be surprised.

4. It's a good time, you'll have plenty to do for now, and there's still plenty of people playing. It will slow down eventually, but you still have plenty of content and there will be new dlc this fall then Destiny 2 beginning of next year. Assuming you like it, you'll be on the train for a long time.

If you trade in your copy (assuming it's not digital) and have BB GCU, you could get it cheaper than $40.

2) I played the story before so I don't care to again. You don't HAVE to play it, but it's there should you want the content.

3) Strikes and eventually Raids are the most fun, IMO, when it comes to PvE. It can be tough to find a steady group for raids unless you have friend's who steadily play, but there are other ways to find people. Plenty of content.

4) I think so. I played a TON before, but I am enjoying it after picking it up again after an 8 month break. Unless you have other games that you don't want to pry yourself from/don't have the cash I absolutely say its worth it. It doesn't seem like the player base is dwindling at all. I've had NO problems finding players in any and every matchmaking.
