Haven't played for months so I don't know what I'm doing, but it was quite refreshing coming back to this. Didnt think it would be this much fun seeing how burnt out i got with the TK. Seen they brought POE and up a bunch of year one exotics and legendary.

What the new max light level? I don't have the best gear but I'm around 305-308 light. I'm planing on doing strike to get used to the game again before I hit up the crucible or try Kings fall.

Good ol Destiny RNG at work for me again. My two buddies who I got to start playing again have both gotten multiple Zen Meteors, and the 4 or so special engrams I've gotten have all been something else.

Oh well. At least it's not on the level of never getting Fatebringer in year 1. I've had pretty good luck since I started playing again for sure. I've gotten a Shadow Price, Devil You Know, two LDR's, High Lord Fixer, Righteous VII, and three of the CoE Queen weapons (hand cannon, sniper, and shotgun) all from packages.

Really having fun with this again. The CoE is the first time I've REALLY had fun in the PoE. Me and my buddies have already run it multiple times this week. Just wish it would drop me a damn ghost already, as that's the big thing holding me back.

When the Iron Banner comes back around, is all the gear in the loot table? I've yet to play the Banner with my Titan, and I'd love to get the full Banner set, but unless I'm wrong, it looks like only two armor pieces are available each Banner?

Are you able to get it all as post match rewards, or will it take multiple Iron Banners to get the full set?

Usually it's just two pieces so you will have to do multiple banners to get them all.

I think the packages have a chance to be a random gear drop across the entire IB loot table.

Been playing for a few days and hit 321 light on my hunter, and 315 on my other characters. Ran the raid on normal to get used to it for when I finally run hard, and had no idea bungie added in challenges. This bumped me up a good 4-5 light levels. Was expecting CoE to be similar to Skolas revenge, but nope a high score game mode, which was really fun. Ran it on all my characters, and ended up getting the Queenbreaker Bow. Got the zen meteor, but not really sure what to say about it. Gonna test it out some more later.

Guess it time to start working on those Y1 legendaries. Can't wait for IB to come back.

I hate the shield brothers when its the nightfall because its ALWAYS some bull**** modifiers and this week was no different. Its basically avoid all the psions at all costs, btw they have a shield that doesnt match the burn too. LOL UR DED

F, this game has me hooked again. Titan has always been my main, but now I am trying to max out subclasses on Hunter and Warlock.

Ran hard mode today, and it wasn't that difficult from the regular raid. Didn't finish it though since people kept on dying at Oryx. I see why people don't play the normal version. Guess I'm going to have to finish it later then.

Hit 324 light on my main and 318 on alt. Been playing with the twilight garrison and it pretty fun. Got out played hard by someone wearing this earlier.

I did the nightfall once and that will be it. The group I was with got stuck on the bosses for 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

Kotaku: Leaked Poster Reveals Destiny's Next Expansion, Rise of Iron

Destiny’s next expansion is called Rise of Iron, according to leaked marketing materials that popped up on Reddit tonight. The expansion, which is expected in September, should be officially revealed at E3.

Two sources familiar with Bungie confirmed the authenticity of this poster to Kotaku tonight. The Rise of Iron expansion will feature a new raid (likely Fallen-themed) and will be larger than the two year-one DLC packs, according to a source. (Of course, as The Taken King showed us, the amount and scale of content in a Destiny expansion can vary wildly and it may not be fair to compare this to previous DLC.) It’s not clear how this expansion is related to Destiny’s regular Iron Banner PVP event, but that appears to be Iron Banner maestro Lord Saladin brandishing a hammer in the poster.

Rise of Iron’s raid is based loosely on the raid that was cut from last year’s House of Wolves DLC, according to sources. At one point Bungie had planned to launch it in April, but it was delayed a while back.

Also, Destiny 2 was recently rebooted.

In January, as we reported earlier this year, Bungie moved its internal target for Destiny 2 from 2016 to 2017. Replacing D2 in this fall’s slot will be Rise of Iron, although it’s not clear what else Bungie will release between then and fall of next year. From what we hear, Destiny 2 was recently rebooted, with Taken King director Luke Smith taking the reins of that project in the wake of a Bungie staff reorganization.
