Haven't been playing that much, but played today and had some fun in the IB. I'm liking the new Bounty system for Crucible and IB. Gonna start pushing for 360, before I run the raid. Seen some of the raid weapons, and they look amazing, especially that raid exotic.

Having just got the Outbreak today, it is ridiculously good. Nothing quite as fun as headshotting a dreg and watching the swarms destroy the other enemies in the area. It's basically a primary Gjallarhorn in the way it works.

My favorite weapon in the raid by far though is the Dogma. It is so ridiculously good at boss DPS. I use it exclusively on Aksis' first two teleports during damage phase as you never run out of ammo, and the DPS is incredible for a primary. This leaves all my heavy hitting sniper/heavy ammo for the third teleport if the scorch cannons have already been grabbed.

The Outbreak seem amazing for PvE. A Primary Gjallarhorn is nuts. The tracking on it seems similar to a skip grenade. That great for cleaeing a wave of adds. Have you tried it out in the crucible? I seen some people using it today in IB, and they were doing ok with it.

Is the Dogma the Scout Rifle? If it the scout, then that the one I want because it just endless ammo as long as you get that triple tap. I can't even begin to imagine the hard version of the scout.

Was it difficult getting the Outbreak? Can't wait to get my hands on these new weapons. Might have to get serious about trials. I never played it, but those weapons are looking sick with that gold skin.

Wasn't really hard to get. The hardest step was honestly just beating the raid for the first time with all monitors activated. Once that's done, everything else just comes with time.

I dont know if anyone here has seen, but people are posting theres a super overcharge in aksis final form that fills the super meters for extra dps. (Been watching videos since I haven't gotten past Vosik yet and all the dumb lfgs need experience)

Haven't seen it, but DPS really isn't the issue with the last fight (at least on normal). The biggest challenge is coordinating everyone each round.

Yeah, for sure. Communication is key along with a LACK of it as too many people talking makes everything far more difficult. It's really not a difficult encounter, but it feels hectic if you haven't completed it.

most of the wipes in the raid runs I've been in were just small dumb mistakes that ruined the flow or messing up on which side each of the empowered players will go. actual DPS never seemed to be an issue, though was made easier with a Titan with weapons of light bubble.

Has anyone seen a heavy weapon or chest armor drop as an Iron Banner reward? Those are the only two slots I haven't gotten something for from IB. My heavy weapon slot especially is lagging behind in light terms.

Neither of those will drop as post match rewards, it's only stuff the vendor is selling and ghosts/artifacts.

You can get the heavy or chest from the reward packages/bounties though.

I got a chest piece and helmet on my warlock.

Is it possible to run the raid at 355+? I'm 357 and all the post on lfg wants you to be 365+ or 370+.

You can probably do the first few parts and maybe up to the boss. You just have to learn the mechanics and you'll be fine.

Anyone else given the Outbreak a shot in PvP? I was rocking it in Banner earlier and doing work. It feels just like the Hawksaw, and in a mode like Supremacy where people group up, the nanites that spawn off headshots make for easy group cleanup. I've been swapping between it and TLW depending on the map and have had really good luck so far.

I got both Chest and Heavy, I assume from the bounties. I've gotten the gloves and shotgun multiple times as match rewards.
