Dude, I had 3/1, 2/1 kill ratios in all my matches today and got NOTHING in two hours! lol

Yeah there is another session though. I have played all the iron banner sessions so I guess they felt sorry for me.

By the way, this is the last night until Wednesday. Beta will be down for maintenance soon.

I assume it will be 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). That is what time the beta offically ends on the 27th. So, I guess it will be the same for the maintenance.

I would say the crucible in this game is 35 percent skill and 65 percent gear. I went from being horrible with my level 5-7 stuff to winning most gunfights with a solid level 8 gun.

I completely agree. I came in dead last in points for my team in my first game, when I was level 6, but I got to level 8 and ended up leading the team in points in a victory. I hope they will offer game modes where level advantages are turned off and everyone gets the same weapons, that way it would be more skill based. I don't think all of it will be, but just a few of them would be nice.

I completely agree. I came in dead last in points for my team in my first game, when I was level 6, but I got to level 8 and ended up leading the team in points in a victory. I hope they will offer game modes where level advantages are turned off and everyone gets the same weapons, that way it would be more skill based. At least it's not like the latest Cods where you can buy whatever you want whenever you want as long as you have the "skill points" available. I like having to earn weapons and equipment and when I do kill someone or something that's a higher rank than me, it feels like a bigger accomplishment.
I get how frustrating it can be when it just seems like you can only kill people that are the same or lesser rank than you. I'm just trying to say it's not ALL bad

Oh I completely agree, and I haven't played a COD game since MW3, and I haven't enjoyed one since MW2. It would just be nice to have a few games where level advantage was cancelled out and everyone was given the same gear and it was just a test of skill. That would be fun to me.

That makes sense. It is just really tough to "outplay" someone who is a higher rank than you on this game.... so it'd be interesting to see who'd come out on top if the level advantages were cancelled out.

I thought level advantage disabled meant everyone was on equal playing ground. A pulse rifle is a pulse rifle, a shotgun is a shotgun. I haven't tried the crucible with a lower character, but my friend had no issues topping the scoreboards every game in both alpha and beta with level 4/5. He is good at just about every shooter he plays though, so that may be it.

I hope this is the case, and even if it is I'm pretty sure the weapon and armor bonuses you have still are present. So if you have armor that matches the type of gun you have you could still get the boosts to reload time and recharge times.

Yeah, I thought the same thing as well. The Iron Banner level advantages were present, the regular mode there are no advantages.
