Good RPGS on PC, 360, PS3, PSN and XBLA.

I love turn based RPGs the most similar to Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X.

Action RPGs I can enjoy however they have to be pretty fun. I enjoyed Star Ocean the last hope a bit.

Grid based RPGs I don't prefer however I will play if they are good enough. Final Fantasy Tactics and Shining Force for examples.

Dungeon Crawler RPGs I really enjoy however I been getting burnt out on them. Diablo, Torchlight 1 and 2 and Path of Exile are example.

    Some I played are:
    Lost Odyssey (360)
Final Fantasy VII, VIII and X (PS2)
Star Ocean Till end of Time (360)
    Final Fantasy 13 (360)
    Costume Quest (XBLA)
    Final Fantasy Tactics
    Diablo 1,2,3
    Torchlight 1,2
    Path of Exile
    Skyrim (360)
    Oblivion (360)
    Fallout 3 (360)
    Fallout New Vegas (360)
    XCOM (360)
    Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
    Kingdoms of Armalar
    Mass Effect 1,2,3
    Dragon Age 1,2
    Dragons Dogma
    KOTOR 1,2
    Borderlands 1,2
Bioshock 1,2 (didn't like to much)
    Fable 1,2,3
    Witcher 2
    Demon Souls
    Dark Souls

I would love some recommendations for others that I haven't played. Starting to get FPS out and would like to change it up. Keep in mind that my Laptop is pretty old but runs Diablo 3, Torchlight 2 and Path of Exile at low settings.

There's was a RPG for PSN that came out not long ago that was supposed to be good but I don't remember what it was called.

Titan Quest for PC was pretty good

Magicka for PC is darkly humorous and fun

More like a strategy game, but a lot of the time plays like an old-fashioned table top RPG: Crusader Kings 2. I couldn't recommend this enough if you are burning out on any standard genre of game.

You may really enjoy Dark Souls. It's not turned based, but the combat is extremely methodical and takes a ton of strategy. The Witcher is good, but the combat is really uptempo. Borderlands and Bioshock are two FPS's with a lot of RPG elements. Mass Effect is another one I'm sure you've heard of. Choices and narrative play a big role, and combat is surprisingly good after the 1st game.

Persona 3: FES (PS2 title, downloadable from the PS Store and playable on PS3). Persona 4 if you have any way of still playing PS2 discs (or have a Vita ).

Eternal Sonata (360 and PS3). Describing its battle system is difficult because it actually evolves as you play through the game. It starts out as pure turn-based where nothing happens until you start acting, but later on your "action timer" runs continuously and it becomes more of an active time battle system. Interesting fantasy story revolving around a fictional version of famous composer and pianist Fredric Chopin, and has one of the best overall music packages I've ever heard in gaming. PS3 version has a few extra features due to it coming out a while after the 360 one (same as with Star Ocean 4).

Tales of Graces f (PS3). Battle system very similar to Star Ocean. My first re-entry back into the Tales series since the first game, Phantasia. Has put Xillia on my buy list for the upcoming year.

Great to see Valkyria Chronicles on your played list.

Witcher makes Dragon Age look like a kid's game. Highly recommended.

Anachronox, it's old, but it's one of the most original (and amusing) games I've ever played. I think you can get it for $3 off GoG.

Mass Effect 1-3 - Amazing Action/Shooter/RPG. The best Sc-Fi game I have ever played hands down. Very well made, immersive, you get totally emotionally involved.

Dark Alliance/Dark Alliance 2 - XBOX - Awesome hack n Slash from the Baulders Gate series but for console gaming. Great games.

Dragon Age Origins - Probably the best voice acting and characters I have ever played as far as a old school turn based RPG. Great game. DA 2 not nearly as fun IMO. Good but not in the same league at all.

I need to check out Dragons Dogma and The Witcher 2 down the road.

I have had Demons Souls starting at me for a loooong time. I played about 4-5 hours and put it down. It demands your full attention. Very hard and unforgiving but really cool. I will finish that game one day.

                        Phantasy Star II and IV.

They are Genesis games, but you can get them both on PC/Xbox 360 for real cheap.
