$80 is a very good deal considering it's barely two years old. And unlike PS2's and Xbox's you don't have to worry about the system crapping out after two weeks.

Thanks, This is really weird. About 20 minutes after I posted this my buddie calls me wondering if I would be interested in buying is one year old gamecube. He selling me the console, 2 controllers and 4 mem cards for $85. Im thinking thats a great deal

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

that is a great deal... my controllers and memory cards alone were about 50 dollars...

i got mine over a year ago just at best buy for like $100

so you could try the classifiied ads but i don't think you'll find a better deal then what your friend offered you

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

He ended up giving everything to me for $80 bucks and then I traded in to xbox games in at gamestop and got three gamegube games (Resitent Evil 0, Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness) for $2 after the trade in value. Im very happy with the deal.

By the way, Does anyone know if the gamecube has a hook up for surround sound systems. I have my xbox hooked up through an optical so I can hear it through my surround. I know nintendo doesnt have optical but do the have anything like that at all. Thanks.

Gamecube decodes Pro-logic 2, which is between pro logic and dolby digital in quality.

If your gonna pay 80 bucks for a used one, pay 20 bucks more and get a new one.
