I think they want to try to make the XBox more than a gaming machine. They probably want to try to add some TiVo capabilities or something on it. Maybe you can download movies or music and burn it from the box. In any case, 40-80 gig HDs are pretty cheap now a days. Things are getting up into the terabyte area.

we dont need any of this garbage on the box, id rather go out and buy that stuff myself if i wanted it, which i dont and i already have a computer. i hope they stick to gaming and online gaming and thats it.

I wouldn't mind it, but I just hope it doesn't drive the price of the xbox 2 up too high...i don't wanna spend 500 bucks on a new system really...
