6 Ideas for a Sequel to the Witcher 3

For now, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the last game in the successful series as CD Projekt RED move on to work on something new. But it would be foolish to let what is turning out to be a hugely successful franchise fade away without making the most of the growing fan base and momentum.
The Witcher games serve as continuation to the stories of Geralt the Witcher, initially short stories followed by five novels and a prequel book, written by Andrzej Sapkowski. The games pick up where the novels end, and do a very good job of building on the source material and growing on from it.

That's the ending I got as well. Thought it was pretty cool, but there was some sadness in it as well.

I didn't get a horse though. I saved some runaway horse as I was heading out to go hunt at the beginning of the epilogue. Do I need to go somewhere after the game resets to get it?

I just remember refusing the payment from the king. Then he insisted I take one of his pure bred horses. Once I spawned in Valen and whistled for Roach, he came to me except he was black now instead of brown. I was shocked.

As for the ending it was sad but in that moment alone. My Geralt and Yen (F Triss!) could go visit the queen whenever they liked. From my pov Ciri is too powerful and important to simply wander the world aimlessly being a witcher. Being a witcher is below the godlike Ciri imo. Now she has the strategy of her father and the compassion of Geralt helping her lead a nation that seems to be growing by the day. Ciri wont stand for the mistreatment of witchers, mages, rocktrolls, etc etc. Shes just gonna be a badass leader.

As for the sequel stuff, Id enjoy a sequel set in the world of the witch following a completely different protagonist, against completely different antagonists, with very very limited cameos from anybody we've ever met in a previous witcher game. Cleanse the palate and start fresh if they feel the need to continue the story. Geraldo Rivera's story has been told. Tell another!

I did the same with the payment from the Emperor for finding Ciri, so maybe I got a new horse too, just didn't notice, lol.

Sounds like I got the same situation with Yenn as well. I think Ciri will do a real good job as Empress too.

Fixed all of my bugged quests for me including Most Wanted. As of right now I don't have any quests that are bugged on my list.

I tried it after the patch and it's still bugged for me. Weird.

I still can't do that quest, also I can't talk to Vernon Roche to continue the Gwent quest.

That is really strange. I have never understood how two people playing the same game can have completely different results on bugs and other issues. I could understand if one person is on PC and another is on consoles, because PC's are by design different from one machine to another, But console are not different from each other, obviously Xbox is different from PS but I hope I am getting my idea across.

was there a quest at some point, or some point in the story for that matter where the game gives you the option to upgrade Axii?

For some reason I remember it happening where it kind of gives you the option /tells you to learn it.

I'm starting a new play through on pc and am just wondering. I know i want to level it up again as its very useful. Just wasn't sure if I should just throw points in it early or wait. TIA.

I haven't played this in a while, been too involved in MLB 15. I haven't gotten too far but I'm thinking of maybe (just maybe) starting over because I'm sure I have forgotten a few things and choices I've made and what not. I really like my gwent deck though so idk haha. I'm still downloading the latest update file, my internet is slow so it's taking a while, but I'm ready to hop back on and wreak havoc on the bandits and monsters of the world

Thanks to texture import and export, gamers can now modify the looks and feel of in-game objects, while the possibility of substituting meshes allows to insert new models in the game world in place of existing ones. Finally, access to script files opens up an entirely new array or modification options to many in-game aspects, so modders can fire up their imagination and fiddle with item statistics and much more.

With access to script files, players will be able to change nearly every aspect of gameplay mechanics, including creating new, custom skills for character development, adding new features to the game, modifying aspects of enemy AI, making changes to UI, and so on.

What are the plans, if any, to bring these mods across to console?

We are thinking about it but it’s a way more complex process to do this on consoles so we can’t give you any details now. It’s really important for us not to partition The Witcher community and allow access to mods to console gamers, too. We’re considering various approaches to solve this and started initial talks with first-parties about this. We can’t make any hard promises yet, but you can be sure that we’re looking into it.

New Game+ is apparently "really close," but not coming this week.

They will apparently be releasing some new info on the expansions within the coming weeks.

Anyone else like me who wants to get all of the question mark locations after beating the game but then remember how many there are in the water ? Those are so annoying to get and really stops me from wanting to get them all.

Don't waste your time lol. I spent Saturday clearing those out in Skellige. Tedious + nothing better/equivalent to your Witcher gear + No acheivement/trophy for the hassle.

The only reasonable draw to do it wouldve been if there were rare or super high level (35+) gear in those wreckages/barrels but if you've made it to the end of the game you're not finding any surprises.

I still have broken quests after the latest patch.

The guy still insta-dies in Black Pearl as I approach the shore no matter what I try and I can't remember the name of the quest but the one where you meet Dykstra at the whore house.

The madam says she knows why I'm there and to follow her but doesn't move after the short convo ends. The gwent tourney is at the same place and the Internet says that can interfere with the Dykstra quest so I spent last night beating that and completing that quest even though I was way under level. The Madam was still broke and won't lead me anywhere.

The Black Pearl I'm not so worried about but the Dykstra quest I feel probably has some good side story.
