    ssytem link cable question/rainbow 6 3

    do u need the system link wire or can u just use a regular internet wire for a cable modem to connect 2 xboxes??? Also, how many people can play the system link if u connect 2 xboxes, 2 or 8???

    8 can play on two xboxs.

    You can just use an internet cable. I've got some cable that I bought somewhere and it's just a cable.

    as long as it fits and isn't a phone line then it should work.

    that's not gospel though.

      8 can play on two xboxs.

          Are you sure that 8 can play Rainbow Six via System Link on only 2 xboxes? I thought that R6 was different from Halo, and only allowed 1 person per Xbox, even on system link...

                            Yeah, shame about the lack of split screen.

                            You need a CROSSOVER (RJ45) cable - any PC/components store will sell them.

                            I have to say I've never had as much fun on any game as I have playing sys-link on Rainbow Six 3. Insanely good fun - especially if you take it all way too seriously! Play co-op through the missions - brilliant.

                              I have to say I've never had as much fun on any game as I have playing sys-link on Rainbow Six 3. Insanely good fun - especially if you take it all way too seriously! Play co-op through the missions - brilliant.
