Rockabilly, Kill Bill, and Dushku? I'm gonna have to try this.

^^ I never played it but watched it all on youtube -from start to finish. I must say, it was awesome, even just watching it.

What are some games that you guys have played and enjoyed in spite of negative reviews across the board? (I may want to pick some up )
Dude while I do agree with you on some points. I invested 100$ on the Aliens game about 2 months back. I got it, but didn't open. Because of the awful review that people was giving it. So I rented first. Turns out it was an ok game. But not worth the 100$ I put into it. So I took it back and got my money back. Now the Walking Dead game is coming out in about 1 day. I'm getting no matter what kind of reviews it has. Because I love the show and I've seen some of the game play. It ain't the greatest. But looks fun. I guess it depends on the people and what they expect out of the game.

                Legends of Wrestlemania
Received pretty mixed reviews if I remember correctly, but I think it's great and imo, is the best wrestling game this generation.

                NFL Head Coach 09
Never played the first HC and am really not a "Coach Mode" type of player but man, this game was a great experience. This is what Connected Careers in Madden should look like.

                Virtua Tennis 4 World Tour
I have the Vita version of this game. I think it's fantastic. Simple controls, good graphics, sound and the inclusion of legend players to a decent modern-day roster is a bonus.

                Blitz: The League
I like the story that goes along with trying to build your team up from pretender to contender. Plus, who doesn't like choosing whether to inject your players with steroids or not?

                  Stoked: Big Air Edition

Probably the best Snow Sports game ever made.

Re: Games with negative reviews you've enjoyed

I loved the old 989 MLB games on PS1. From what I remember, they routinely came in behind Triple Play and All-Star baseball.

Also really liked Live 96 on the PS1. Thought it was a lot better than Shootout.

Didn't hate the last Sony NBA game on PS3. It wasn't in 2K's league, but I didn't hate it.

And I've enjoyed some of the Maddens this gen that everybody else hates.

Will add one that has been glossed over. Thor on the 3DS. It was one of the first titles I bought on the 3DS and it felt fairly solid for the platform and a movie title. Still, it got panned by most reviewers.

Sticking with the Marvel theme, I'll say that I really enjoyed Spider-Man 3 for the DS.

A little over the top but crazy good fun!

I also loved WWE All Stars.

The hyperdimension neptunia series. Granted, I've don't enjoy the overt fan service female characters that everyone associates anime with but its just a super quirky RPG. Its based on the console wars of 7th gen (so ps3/360/Wii and the faux console Sega Neptune.)

a lighthearted, funny game (even with RPG grinding) once you get past the anime visuals (which I enjoy anime a lot, I'm just sick of over sexualized characters both male and female).
