    HUGE Backlog

    My wife gets me games for my birthday, Christmas, and sometimes just to be nice, but then she doesn't want me to spend much time on them. Therefore, I have a massive backlog of games I've barely even touched. I don't even know where to begin. Which of these would you put at the top of your play list?

    Assassin's Creed III
    Xcom
    Simcity 5
    Shogun 2 Total War
    Max Payne 3
    Far cry 3
    Ni No Kuni
    Halo 4
    Gears of War 3
    Batman Arkham City
    Sleeping Dogs
    Mass Effect 2 and 3

    Due to having all these I am trying to stay away from Bioshock Infinite.
    Between making sure I spend all the time I can with my daughter and having quality time with my wife in what is a fairly new marriage, my gaming time is limited. I love every genre of gaming and wish I had an extra 3 or 4 hours a day just to play. Which of these would you start with?

      One of those games is not like the others. You got a nice selection of shooters but if you want a real challenge and enjoy RPG then I'd play XCOM. Brilliant game.

      Far Cry 3 and Sleeping Dogs were my sleeper hits for the year. Both games delivered way more than expected.

      Max Payne, Halo, Batman and ME3 were all very solid titles. I thought Mass Effect 3 did a great job staying fresh throughout the game. Previous versions became a bit redundant as you advanced but ME3 was solid all the way through.

          Top 3 imo:
          Mass Effect 2 (The best of the series imo...only one I played more than once)
          Far Cry 3 (My game of the year...open sandbox game with a good story on a tropical island)
          Max Payne 3 (hell of a story and a good challenge of a game. Like the setting too once you get to Brazil)
