it was a good run.
I was looking forward to Star Wars 1313, and hoping for a reboot or HD remake of the X-Wing/Tie Fighter series.

just a guess, but it would mean absolutely zero for The Old Republic...Bioware developed and EA published (which means that Lucasarts had nothing to do with it) EA basically would have purchased rights to use the Star Wars name and that agreement doesn't go away.
