I usually don't give free games a first look much less download them and play them. Thankfully I somehow downloaded Jetpack Joyride on the Vita. It's an awesome little game, and you can't beat the price (FREE!). If you've played Canabalt on the iPhone, then you'll immediately feel at home with Jetpack Joyride which incorporates the increasingly fast side scrolling adventure and introduces a slew of twists.
As you play the game, you earn coins which can be used to unlock specials, new gear, or one time use items. The coins come fast enough you don't have to buy anything, but if you don't mind spending a little money, I strongly suggest buying the item from the store that doubles your coins each time.
