I very well may pick this up down the line and only play Squad Mode. People and all their douchebagery really ruin this franchise for me. If I can avoid the frustrations of dealing with them that would be key.

Definitely go with Squads then,I don't have to deal with drop shots,and my personal fav...the Bunny hoppers from hell,who are STILL able to line up the perfect shot.

Squads really show (imo) what the mp COULD be like,and as was mentioned earlier..the A.I is really good as well....they'll take cover,if you have an unsuppressed weapon and you kill one,his buddy will (if he's close) immediately hunt you down and kill you...they'll toss grenades and so on.

Put it this way...the A.I is so good,at times I actually forget I am playing against bots and still find my self getting pissed because I got killed by some BS.....lmao

That's what I am hoping for. I quit playing bo2 far faster than I wanted to due to all of the dropshotting and other crap. BO1 was the last game I really enjoyed in the series and it was mainly due to the combat training mode, and I am really hoping that this mode will give me that same level of enjoyment.

I am in the same boat as you and the squad mode is the breath of fresh air I needed for this series. I will probably dig into the single player this weekend, and while cliche I generally enjoy the SP of the CoD games.

I like the Squad mode, but getting those 180 instant headshots or getting shot through a wall before I am even coming around the corner is pretty lame. Besides that it's surprisingly fun.

Just getting use to it so I know Im doing something wrong,lol. I hear you can gte squad points through this way also.

I just want to know a way to star with other the pistol.

If you are doing the mode with the waves of enemies that's how you start with just a pistol. In the create a soldier you can edit the loadouts of each of your guys, and if you want to fight in regular game modes against bots go into war games or squad assault and it will be just like multiplayer but against bots.

Im doing horrible in this game Iol I know it just came out but never been this up and down. I would have a great game turn around and go 5 and 18. That's how my nights been lol

But I actually like this game way better then Black Ops 2

I have been playing against the bots in various squad games but my ranking hasnt gone up, does it just stay at 1 with bots? I won a few free for alls and rank never went up?

what modes in squad have you been playing? I don't think there's a free for all mode in squad,if there is...I haven't seen it.

The modes I have played are Safeguard (horde mode) and wargame (all the different modes) which has blitz,kill confirmed and so on.

I know it takes longer to rank up in this games compared to the other COD's,just keep an eye on your progress bar at the end of the match.

I haven't had any problem ranking up in Squad mode,as a matter of fact...I enjoy it more than the "regular" MP.

I go to multiplayer-local play and select different games from there? am I in a different mode . SO many area in the game I get mixed up,lol

No...in the menu pick squad..play online then pick the mode you want to play...you'll see a few different styles of Squad play,like the ones I mentioned earlier.
