    This game is terrible. Once again, another odd Call of Duty. I'm getting killed by pistols with one shot, not in hardcore. I don't know if this franchise will ever be good again. I think we've seen the best of Call of Duty in Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops 1, and Call of Duty 4. This series is almost dead to me.

      I'm totally opposite. I love this Call of Duty, easily one of the best in a long time. That addicition factor that I felt back with Call of Duty 4 and Black Ops 1 is back big time.

        I'm not seeing the issue with being killed by pistols with one shot. I was coming into the game expecting it to be a pistol fest like BO2 but I don't see pistols crazy overpowered. I'm still having a blast playing multiplayer especially after the bad taste BO2 left.

          Same here. I'm not seeing many pistols at all. What I am seeing is a nice variety of primaries.

          I think this is the best job of balancing a game right out of the gate that I have seen from COD yet*. Not seeing any grossly overpowered weapons. Killstreaks are toned down. Even the super cheap Target Finder from BO2 is now far less cheap. The class system gives you a ton of freedom but also forces you to make some hard choices.

          If they keep supporting the game and improving the technical aspects this is going to be a very good game IMO. Sadly it came out at a ****ty time and split user bases are going to hurt it a bit.

            I just think this sounds hilarious, only because this is exactly what can happen in real life.

            I know you said you're not in hardcore, though. I wonder if any headshot just takes one hit regardless?

              Probably poor latency mixed with the burst fire pistol makes it seem like one shot.

              My connections today were phenomenal though. Best ones yet.

                I agree that they did a pretty good job with the balancing. I was just telling a buddy of mine that the killstreaks don't seem to out of control like previous games. I really like how they handled care packages this time around in that you have to complete field orders in order to obtain one. I really think that makes a huge difference. Care packages were fairly easy to obtain in previous games and that's how matches would turn into killstreak mayhem when the higher killstreak rewards were given in the package.

                  I agree. The learning curve on this game is a lot higher. I got mangled for a few days until I figured it out and now I doing really well. This is the best COD I have played since COD4. I love how bullets actually kill people in a relatively quick manner.

                    The pistols in this game are very good as backups. I think it's the 3rd one has a 2 shot kill range with the muzzle break is over 12m. That's 50% more than the TAC45 in BOPS2.

                      Agreed 1000%. I love Squad mode but it stinks not being able to unlock stuff and do challenges. It would be awesome if they opened that up for Squads. Make a minimum difficulty setting or whatever it takes.

                        I am surprisingly having a good amount of fun with this game on PS4. I think it is nice for the killstreaks to be over powered and nothing has been to glaring so far. Well other than spawns, but that is what it is.

                        I have also learned that I am better if I stay in 1/4-1/2 of the map and let everything come to me instead of running around the whole map as well.

                          The people that are complaining about Ghosts are the ones who keep doing the same stuff that may have worked in past games, but no longer works in Ghosts.

                          People complain about how big these maps are and such but I disagree. I like the increase in map sizes. Do I miss the smaller type maps like Bog, Stadium, Crash, etc? Of course, but I think going to big maps adds a lot "thinking" to Call of Duty that we haven't seen in years. You can still run around like you have your head cut off, but you have to be smart about it. Objective game modes to me seem more enjoyable with these maps than in previous games.

                          Or people who are complaining that killstreaks suck, especially assault. Hasn't the majority of the Call of Duty community been whining for years now that killstreaks are OP and should be toned down? Now that they have, everyone is pissed because they don't do anything and are weak.

                          People never cease to amaze me.

                            Man Oh man...I'm such a gun whore in this game it's not even funny....lol

                            I broke down and bought another loadout for my dude (those are expensive...lol) so I can run 2 smg classes,and 2 AR loadouts...but the problem I'm running in to,is that I love ALL the Ar's...lmao

                            So far my top 2 (if I had to pick) are the FAD,and the Remington...but I'm constantly switching that around...decisions,decisions...lol

                            As far as the SMG's go,I favor the Vector and the K-7...for some reason,I just don't like the Mtar in this game,and at times I do OK with the Bizon,but not consistently enough to have it's own class...

                            I've had the game since launch,and am still not 100% sold on anything in particular,that's including sensitivity....thank goodness for squad mode though,as it has really helped me in different gun loadouts as well as map familiarity.

                              Does someone have a video or a write up that explains the class system.

                              Also I love BF4, thats my shooter that I car about. When I got this game it was to play with friends but I am approaching it with a different mind set as in I dont care. I just play for fun and am trying new stuff. I got a .87 or so K/D ratio. Normally I be pissed off over it but Im not and I think its helped me like this game a bit more.

                                Heh I'm the exact opposite. I've already zero'd in on the AK and Vector as my go to guns and that's pretty much all I'll be using for quite a while. I don't even need all three slots they give us.

                                I like the points system because I had everything I needed unlocked by like level 20. So now all the points I earn go to unlocking and outfitting the rest of my squad with the same 2 classes.
