I'm not the only one disappointed that video didn't contain the underwater music from that game, am I?

That video...wow. I wish that was posted on the main page.

I couldnt have been the only one thinking though that im sure i've seen this in other games before. Wasn't thinking Mario so to speak but yeah you see things like that in games quite a bit, even sports games.

E3 2013: Call of Duty: Ghosts - Diving Into the Campaign

Instead of the frenetic, occasionally tough to follow multi-character stories of the previous games, Call of Duty: Ghosts instead focuses on one playable character and his brother — soldiers that have survived and grown up in a United States ravaged by an unspecified "mass event."
          ...
Despite what fans may have theorized, the cataclysmic event is not based on the nuclear fallout of World War III featured in Modern Warfare 3. Not only is it a completely new conflict, all ties to the Modern Warfare universe have been severed. The events of Modern Warfare never happened and the characters never existed — including Simon "Ghost" Riley. The use of his iconic mask, Infinity Ward says, is pure fan service. Nothing more.
After the curious amount of attention given to the dog in the studio's original reveal, the community has been wondering how the Ghosts' four legged friend would fit into the game. As fate would have it, the dog is more than just an AI companion — it's a remote recon scout and deadly weapon controlled by the player via a tablet-like viewfinder. On paper, the idea might sound ludicrous, but according to Infinity Ward, it's based entirely on the real-life use of service dogs by elite Navy SEAL teams.

In the field, SEALs outfit the highly-trained dogs with a periscope-like camera and a specialized earpiece, which allows the team to monitor everything the dog sees and issue audible commands remotely. When stealth is critical, the dogs are outfitted with collars that feature vibrating motors on each side, allowing the SEALs to give directional commands silently.

While anchored in reality, the in-game version offers more direct control, allowing players to steer the dog just like they would a soldier. But instead of aiming down your sights and pulling the trigger, you target an enemy and tap the shoulder button to lunge for their throats. After taking down a few enemies, Infinity Ward showcased the dog's other functions: recon and distraction. While controlling the dog, the player was able to let out a bark, luring a nearby enemy into view, allowing your AI ally to quickly take him out with a silenced rifle.
In the second half of the demo, I was shown an underwater level. Missions set under the sea are nothing new for the franchise, but in Ghosts, the environment isn't just used as vessel for covert infiltration or a stunning setpiece — it's a battleground all its own, complete with gunfights, environmental dangers, and more.
Call of Duty: Ghosts looks and feels like Call of Duty. And despite being the subject of the franchise's most frequent criticism, that consistency is also the source of its popularity. With the latest installment, Infinity Ward doesn't seem interested in breaking the formula, but it's leveraging next-gen capabilities and the chance for a fresh start with a new story and characters to make significant advancements.

COD has some serious competition next gen with BF4 (which is already looking graphically better), Titan Fall, and now The Division. I doubt COD will be the number one played online shooter next-gen.

COD has done an absolutely incredible job of branding themselves to gamers aged 12-50.

It will be very, very hard for others to take the top spot.

I like every cod game. But they are getting a little but stale. I can't even compare with BF. They are both so different. One is more realistic with larger yet a smaller selection of maps and the other has jampacked maps with constant action and a lack of any realism. Both are good in my opinion. I just prefer CoD. BF is a nice change of pace for me. And that Mario video...LOL

What we know so far about Ghosts Multiplayer

ALL Multiplayer maps will have ‘some’ dynamic element.

Ghosts will be supporting competitive multiplayer of some sort. No elaborate details.

Dog will be in MP – not discussing how at this time.

You can lean in multiplayer on all platforms

                              Sliding feature for all platforms

                              No dolphin diving

                              Revamped Multiplayer completely

Dynamic Maps (earth quakes, flooding, player driven actions, doors, explosive traps)

Character Customization – choose heads, bodies, helmet, and gear

They want to make each map as different as possible

Removing the classic symmetrical map layouts

One map has a point where a satellite crashes into the map – whichever teams gets to it first gets a UAV

                              New Online mode called “Squads”

The full Multiplayer reveal is set for August 14th LIVE on CallofDuty.com and on Xbox LIVE. The event starts at 10:30am PT (1:30pm ET // 6:30pm UK time)

Well, I'm almost 57 and am a "branded" Master Prestige" fool! I'll dare you to cut the age off at 50!

I like Battlefield as well but just keep coming back to COD even with the lag comp at times.

I pack a golden KSG..............not bad for an old man...........eh?
