4 1/2 hours long ? Well that is 30 minutes longer then the Battlefield 4 campaign

Who buys these type of games for the single player campaign anyway? Don't get me wrong COD single player is kinda cool as a rental, but who goes out and drops $60 just for single player? Guess I just assume single player is a bonus add on when talking COD or Battlefield.

I was thinking the same thing.

If you people are buying CoD, BF, and really any other FPS for the SP, you're doing it wrong.

Can you pre-load the game on the 360 like you can on Steam? Or is it only available to download on the marketplace after 12:01am?

You can't pre-load on 360. Hell it won't be available for download either on the 360 for at least 3 weeks. 360 never have had release day download for Xbox Live.

I just read on the forum at callofduty.com that the support team said it should be on the marketplace by 1am eastern. People are already dloading it in Australia so it should be out at some point later tonight.

The digital 360 version has already been confirmed by Activision it will be available day 1. And it looks like it should be available for download at midnight:
