I got my first ps2 and xbox paid for. Just preorder everywhere you can and when the console launches sell them on ebay. If for some reason you can't sell them, then return them to where you preordered them. Its a no risk venture.

nice, maybe i could afford both of them, but i don't want to have to buy them both, because the games are also pretty expensive on both. I already have a Ps2 so at least i can play those games on a ps3 if i get it.

I'm being dead serious when I say this. EA could release the *SAME EXACT* game next year as Madden 2004 and call it Madden 2005 and it would *still* outsell ESPN Football by 3:1 margin. That's how powerful marketing is.
