Dammit, I've got a Thompson. Although I haven't seen any problems yet with my XBOX. I've had it since July of 2002 - a little over a year and a half. For those of you who have or had problems with the Thompson drive, how long after you bought your XBOX did you start seeing them?

bought it in may and by october i couldnt play a few games. From there it only got worse. Now i am sure there are thompson drives out there that will work flawlessly. But if it does happen, I can vouch on who you can point the finger too.Comment

I've heard that if you have a Thompson and it doesn't act up in the first 6 months, then it probably will be fine. One of those things that you "hear", so take it for what it's worth.Favorite Sports Teams
