PC here. I'm stuck on initializing.

Edit: Now it says connecting to training and stuck on that. Servers probably getting destroyed right now.

Well after trying for 20 minutes and stuck on initializing I can't say as I didn't expect this. Bravo EA very early returns are that you've succeeded in living up to your reputation.

It was a given. Sometimes I think people intentionally do it so they can bitch about it later. *Not towards you just in general* Its not just EA that has the problems at launch, its almost everyone. EA just gets more attention because of their name and big titles they have. I still remember the Halo 3 beta fiasco I stayed home from school for.

Its the true definition of insanity.

Actually EA gets the attention because they've botched every one recently. I had hopes that using azure would be different. I knew when I pre ordered and preloaded it might be an issue but as I said I was hopeful. No biggie to me, I've still got some South Park to finish up, but when reviewers are intentionally pointing out they are holding off on completing the reviews because of potential server issues you should probably take that as a sign to get your launch in order. When you release an online only game you need to be a bit better at launch execution than others. Just the nature of committing to an online only game.

I will say I don't think this one will be as bad as sim city or battlefield due to azure, at least for their sake with respect to their shareholders I hope it isn't.

You also got to think Diablo 3, GTA 5 was basically unplayable for 2 weeks.

I managed to get into a game no problem. This game does a number on my CPU though. I've never had the fans spin up this loud while playing a game.

If you're getting the message “Initializing” on PC, back out of the game and try again. It may take a few attempts as servers load!

I'm going to guess they are xbone players and the culprit is origin.

I finally got on, got through training and the server connection was lost and I'm back in initializing world.
