I made a vow about 4 years ago to never play CoD again and have held firm.

The balance this game offers and fun factor keeps me hooked to this halo

Thats the biggest thing for me, just how every weapon seems to have a niche for a certain situation is amazing but I fear that complainers are going to ruin it.

First they are going to nerf the pistol and AR and I guarantee they buff the BR which will turn the game into Halo 5 BR's R Us like Halo 3 was.....

Yeah forgot about that but lets be series, if Content is the reason people will be leaving Halo 5 then I dont think we need to worry that Battlefront or Rainbow 6 Siege will keep people away. Maybe for the first week of release but other than that nah.

CoD, maybe. Say what you want about it (Its the bottom of shooters for me personally) but it has content and the Zombie Fan Base alone is enough to support it.

Yeah, I agree and also think they can win those people back with proper support.

Short term the content currently in the game needs to be better cycled and utilized though. Like how there's 4 maps not being used for Slayer and some of the maps would be perfectly suitable for other gametypes.

They showed a city Warzone map in the Gamescom multiplayer trailer. I guess this wasn't ready for launch?

Haven't really been looking, but are people complaining about the pistol?

I mean, I know the Halo community is one of the most critical and cynical around, but the pistol is perfect. It's an actual utility weapon; effective and has a high-skill ceiling.

BR starts would ruin the new mobility options.

Yeah go to the Waypoint forums. The first most posted in article is something like "Nerf the pistol, its shouldnt out shoot my BR!" or something along those lines. Then in the thread theres a mix of just get better and I agree posts all throughout it.

Then theres nerf the Assault rifle and Buff the BR screams. Not to mention people screaming about wanting BR starts. The moment someone says that would ruin mobility they say something along the line of "This isnt CoD, blah blah blah"

Really been enjoying warzone. Not very good in one on one battles but make myself useful by capturing unmanned based

Yeah the ones asking for nerf pistol are funny because they either a think it kills in like 3 shots when it is 5 or they think like cod taught them to and that the pistol is a side arm and not a primary weapon.

Me personally I think it is perfect. It allows weapon diversity which I think was lacking in the older games. Those were br start and really no reason to pick up any other weapon except for a power weapon.

This is pistol is good against an ar unless you miss a shout than the AR will probably win. Pistol will usually lose our to a rifle unless the rifle user is worse than the pistol user.

Pistol gives you a fighting chance at spawn but still encourages picking up other weapons.

I think the game is really balanced and plays extremely well

I just joined the OS squad on the website, not sure if anyone is around who can let me in.

I'm focusing on the campaign still, finally have time to get deep into the game. Hoping to get online tonight or tomorrow.

i picked this up the other day. never really been into halo before so learning as i go. i sent a join request to the OS spartan team.

will be fun to play with some ppl from os,i see some familiar names from our bf4 squads. enjoying the game so far.

Yeah, I hope 343 leaves the core balance alone. It is perfect. Give the whiners a BR only playlist and let them wallow in there.

I love the weapon balance. My go to upgrade on each map is to grab a BR and the Submachine gun. That combo makes a big difference for me.

I really enjoy the gameplay right now. Not a fan of warzone though.

Definitely need a mode for when you have more than 3 friends online but don't want to go into warzone.
