You'll probably have trouble but just take it slow. The NPCs will be more of a bother than the human players.

Also be careful with an itchy trigger finger. I learned my lesson last night when my group was fighting NPCs with another human group, and the guys on their squad ran in front of where I was shooting and I hit one of them to force me into rogue status.

I really hope they fix that so going rogue only happens after draining a majority of someone's health or something. Accidentally shooting someone isn't grounds for going rogue; got swarmed by ~5 or 6 players and lost money and experience (luckily no loot).

Every time I see a body in the DZ I just start shooting on instinct, it really is a problem. Though it doesn't help when the guys are running straight at you like they're going to attack.

They go into various pieces of gear you'll get. If the piece of gear has a mod slot (it'll say in the item description and it'll have a small rectangle on the item picture), you can slot the performance mod into it. Performance mods usually give bonuses to specific skills (Pulse, Turret, etc.), but you'll also get firearms/stamina/electronics mods that give bonuses to the related stat.

Once you get to level 30, some pieces of gear can actually have two mod slots.

Got it. I guess I haven't found a lot gear that has mod slots.

They probably have a specific mod on it (I believe the zapper).

So how do I add that to it?

You have to go in your skills and press square/X to mod your skill. You have to have unlocked the mod portion of it through your base of operations though. It's an upgrade through the tech wing I believe.

Even playing with friends, this game wont last much longer for me.

Starting to think the same thing. The best gear in game being craftable not as a loot drop or reward is frustrating, then the blue prints being tucked behind a slow to acquire currency and them not changing the stock weekly or whatever...I'm left with few choices.

Jump into the DZ and grind to 50.
Use the "Bullet King" glitch to acquire Phoenix Credits...Did it and am now bored with it.
Hope my squad is online for challenges or pray match making puts me with a good group.

I don't even like to admit this, but the fact that it took me 6 hours of Bullet King grinding just to get a Caduceus to drop for me (and one other high end drop from killing a named elite through regular gameplay) makes me think drop rates are awful right now. Not sure what else there is for me to do in the game TBH.

From everything I have seen the Caduceus is the only gun that is dropping from named elites in the PVE world. We were farming one yesterday and he dropped 4 of them and only them.

I actually got a Midas that I'm using until they nerf it into oblivion. Then it's probably back to my vector.

This game is definitely fun and the missions were cool although they were pretty much just go here and kill a bunch of waves of enemies.

I overdosed on this game a lot this week and flew from level 6 to 30 in 2 days, now I'm sitting here not really feeling like grinding gold high end stuff and the Dark Zone is eh after awhile.

I'll play sparingly probably with the incursions/new DLC in the future but I can't see this taking too much of my gaming time.

A break helps wonders! I lived and breathed this game for a week straight, but now haven't been on at all since Wednesday due to March Madness, so when I jump on this week, I'll be good to go for a nice long session again.

Take another eventual break to get back into some games I haven't touched since February, plus a week long trip I'm taking to South Dakota in late April, I'll have some nice natural breaks in between playing this to keep it fresh and keep me rolling until DLC and more endgame stuff starts rolling out.

I actually like that the update wasn't anything major. That way I can play some other games (Powell Lacrosse and UFC 2) without thinking that by not playing all the time I'm going to be hosed and have to play catch up when I want to play again.

Honestly, the endgame is really lacking.

There is no end game for games like this as it's all about loot more than story. There's always some area to improve upon

Watched Deadpool last night: cost me and the wife $22 + a $4 candy and it totally wasn't worth it. The $13/hour rate for entertainment and I just didn't feel I got my money out of it. I know the movie got great reviews and people love it. Not here to debate how the film was.

I don't even want to see how many hours I put into The Division. I'd assume I'm at $1.XX/hour for my entertainment rate.

I feel like my expectations for these games are so much lower than others.

In the past few years it's my #2 non sports game behind BF4.
