So played some last night since my friend was on I leveled my alt but finally saw that my gear level on my main character is 170 just just above the cut off. Might equip s low level pistol and drop into the lower bracket if needed.

But got my alt to 18 and when in one of the safe houses saw someone gear score of 63. Caught me off guard since I was in a low level safe house at the time. And haven't really read much people's gear score around here being that low.

The day the patch dropped I was gear score of 44. I had just reached level 30 two nights before and only had one or two pieces of equipment that had gear scores.

I've broken the triple digit barrier today and sit at 101 right now. This is what that looks like, one high end, still two pieces without even a gear score yet (primary is 29 and backpack is still 27 ugh!)

The day the patch dropped I was gear score of 44. I had just reached level 30 two nights before and only had one or two pieces of equipment that had gear scores.

Looking for some thoughts on my plan.



So I'm dz 54/55 right now with around 300k. I have a strikers chest and am buying the mask tonight. Should I drop 200k dz funds on the 3 nomad pieces in dz06 (2 191 and the 214 blueprint) and get the health on kill paired with the armor dmg of 2 strikers or hold onto the dz funds for restock or the AUG with dz 75.



My debate is that I'll get a ton of use from the nomad now grinding for my strikers set and not even sure I'll hit 75 by restock countered but the fact that I already know I'm replacing it with technicians or sentry pieces once I hit 4 strikers pieces.

Well the rumor is that the Aug and M1A will be rotated out on the Friday reset. Hamish said it on his stream apparently. I didn't hear it first hand. But it's Hamish so take it with a grain of salt.

If it does happen i think that would be it for me. With people glitching challenge incursion and two of the best weapons being available for a week coupled with **** loot drops its destiny all over with the g-horn. Not gonna chase weapons for a year. Not will all the glitchers running around unmatched in the DZ.

You'll be good at the upper level! I was only something like 164 or 166 the morning after the update. Running with Shando, my friend Tangramaster, as well as a random we met the other night in the DZ, we're doing pretty good in the Varsity DZ. I was debating dropping my score to go back to the JV DZ, but we're doing good. My score now is up to 174 or 176, and we spent a lot of time roaming DZ03 through DZ06. For the most part it's peaceful up there. Even when we wandered over to the DZ03 extraction and ran into what seemed like 10 other agents, everyone was cool.

We went up to the DZ06 extraction, four of us, and another group of four came up to extract, they actually sat there killing the NPCs and then watched our backs while we extracted, so I went ahead and returned the favor and stood guard in case any agents tried to rush while they extracted.

It's sort of like how it was when the game first came out. Everyone has backpacks full of high end items and they want to get their items out, so they're not likely to stir up **** when they meet other agents. Everyone is just trying to get their stuff out and avoid starting wars.

That's not to say that there aren't any rogues. There seem to always been a group of 3 or 4 rogues whenever we were on this week, but much like before, they seem to stay down in 01 and 02 zones, rather than going up to the high zones. When we wandered down to 01 and 02 the other night to do some rogue hunting, most people definitely stay down there. We ran into entire mobs of agents. If a group went rogue, it was a marathon of 10-15+ agents all trying to chase and kill them. So rogues tend to stay low where they have more agents to kill, and more agents tend to stay low where the enemies are easier and the rogues are there to hunt.

So the "Varsity" DZ, the 161+ bracket, isn't as bad as I feared. For the most part, a lot of the people I see only have gear scores of 160-180. There may be some that have some high powered ****, but they aren't that far ahead of everyone else. If anything, they just have their gear focused in firearms or something so they can quickly melt other agents they come across while rogue. Even when I spent 30-40 minutes alone the other night down in 01 and 02, after our group broke up, I never got shot at by any other agents. We all just went our own ways. Even extracting no one really pulled anything, they just extracted their stuff then left. I still very much prefer running in at least a 3 man group, 4 or more preferable, but you can probably get away going lone wolf or even just a two man group if necessary.

That's what I heard and I just can't see getting to 75 before that restock. But who knows, they may rotate the Aug and the M1 to the advanced dealer at the bo and not use DT for crafting. Unlikely, but they just do that with the last patch. I'm just trying to weigh the immediate effectiveness of blowing 200k now on grind aids versus holding it and taking the risk of Getting something better at the restock.

Yea I noticed we were just focusing on clearing the left side.

That was a pretty fast run.

Yeah the strikers bonus seems awesome


For someone like me who likes using skills and healing I still say tactician is amazing, but only for group play. It definitely has a specific niche, where as the other three gear sets are helpful to almost anyone

What is this conversation about and where can I purchase these bad boys? I have like 80,000 DZ currency, where do I go to buy some good gear if that is possible?
