Well, all I know is Massive is making it incredibly difficult for me to return, and 1.2 so far isn't helping with this rope cutting ****.

I just finally got around to buying Fallout 4 after putting it off for months, game just got dropped off by UPS an hour ago and installing it right now.

Massive is gonna have to make some massive changes to get me to leave Fallout 4 and come back to the never ending ****ty grief fest in the DZ over the next couple months.

I gave up on the game today & traded it in as I hadn't played it in over a month. I know there is fun to be had but I got tired of the grind & all the cheats & exploits.

I understood the grind of these typed of ganes from the beginning but Massive has done some horrible decisions so far with the games life cycle.

Making basically all loot useless (except incursions) was incredibly moronic, coming out and saying, "If we find that something is being done we dont agree with, we will post not to do it and ban those who dont follow our rules to play instead of either fixing those things before they come out or fix them as fast as possible once they are found."

The loot wall that you can only get upgrades literally one time a week is so moronic. Thats what kills the game for me.

I still remember the reveal trailer and all my friends telling me that this will be one of the best games ever and look at it now. Barely breathing and will be one of the biggest failures instead.

I don't use dark zone and I'm lvl 30 but still trying to acquire enough Phoenix credits to get the best blueprints.

Is there another way other than daily missions to get Phoenix credits outside of the dark zone?

Meanwhile, I made it as far as protecting the JTF soldier in Lincoln tunnel on challenging difficulty but I can't handle the golfers. They either get me or the JTF soldier.

I'm looking forward to the Tuesday update to see what will be added.

I wouldn't have asked for rope cutting to be added but to be fair to the developers, if you let the rope get cut while your stuff is on there you're pretty much not paying attention.

I'm shocked they didn't change/reduce crafting requirements after their insane hike the first time around. Surely they had to hear all the complaints about it?

Or is 1.2 supposed to increase loot drop rates, therefore balancing the crafting requirements a bit since you'll get more loot?

Either way, I'm with most of you at this point. I've got one character at 30, the other at 13 or 14. So, it takes FOREVER to pile up the Phoenix credits to get gear from gear sets. I've got two from strikers already, but I'm at that point where just logging in now to run the dailies to get the credits then logging off is pretty pointless with limited gaming time for me. Even some days when I want to play longer after running the dailies, there isn't much point in running other missions. You only get 2 additional measly credits from there. It's just way too much "work" for the reward.

With the nice weather here, and the still questionable direction this game is heading, I see less, and less time with it in my future.

They want people to move away from crafting. They want drops to be the primary way to improve your character/load outs.

With Uncharted multiplayer and Overwatch out they better have their stuff together on this update. This one is pretty much my last straw. I've gone from playing almost every night for 2-3 hours to not picking it up in over 2-3 weeks.

The HVT component intrigues me the most. If they have actually added a viable component to getting usable gear outside the incursion and not blocked by a time wall then i might get sucked back in. If they screw this one up I'm just going to chalk up my season pass to a bad investment and move on. And my urge to give up on this one will probably be even strong with Overwatch sitting there.

All of my friends leveled up to 30 and then I had no one to run missions with so I quit playing. Tried running with them but since the game doesn't level me to them, I was getting one shot downed every single second.
