The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

I tried to like this game several times on both PS4 and Xbox since release but always quit at the very beginning at the precinct lol

After playing AC: Origins I realize what I was doing wrong. I wasn’t using better weapons and was getting killed repeatedly. I’ve started maintaining a weapon for my level and it has gotten much better and I’m really enjoying it.

Admittedly, I still dislike the online portion (offline campaign player only) which makes it so that you have to complete missions before you end a session because you basically can’t suspend without having to start over anyway.

Other than that, I’m starting to see why everyone loves this game.

I read it. Still wondering if it’s pvp only or is it a part of the solo campaign which is all I really plan to do.

You don't need to do anything in the dark zone, ever, to complete the campaign. But you can run campaign missions with others in the Dark Zone.

It's PVE with PVP as an added option...the regular game is only PVE

I was going to but Ubisoft is restricting PC sales to Epic and skipping Steam. Epic is garbage and I will not put a dime of my money towards it.

Its very garbage. Makes their games lagggy, crash and an all around chore

Don't really have a problem w/ any of the launchers/storefronts, with hundreds of hours played in each at this point.

I suggest people form their own opinion and not lean into the FUD. I get not wanting to have a bunch of storefronts on your PC, but this is going to happen more, not less. The resistance to this happening isn't strong enough to change it, doesn't matter enough to me to miss out on titles.

Agreed. It's an unfortunate part of gaming on PC - but it's also a big reason we get PC titles cheaper than on consoles. A necessary evil and PITA for sure, but something that, for me, is more palatable now than it was a few years ago.

No he mean epic. They released or are releasing a steam like system that gives devs more money for hosting.

Valve takes 30% of all revenue including dlcs and such. Devs are getting fed up so they are leaving steam for either their own platforms (Uplay, EA, etc) or Epics new platform that only takes 12% from devs. Games that use unreal get a extra 5% royalty cut.

Ubisoft, EA, Microsoft and even Bethesda are going their own routes because if this.

Crazy thing is The Division 2 preorders have surpassed division 1 and while losing some sales by not being on steam they have 6x as many preorders on Uplay and more than expected on epics store.

I don't understand Ubisoft, I would make it Gold live and Ps plus free in Jan or Feb.
