Yeah, the realistic setting is throwing a LOT of people off. This is essentially an MMORPG lite in the same vain as Destiny. It's easier to accept bullet sponges in that game due to the setting.

Thankfully, I knew going in what style this game was gonna be so the enemy health situation doesn't bother me at all. I still have the same questions about it that I had for Destiny, but even with the perceived lack of content Bungie gave us, I still sunk more hours into it than any game I've ever played.

BTW, there are a LOT of gameplay videos covering various aspects of the game on the Division reddit. Everything I've seen looks pretty damn good so far. Can't wait to try it myself in the beta.

I agree Kearnzo. Watched several videos yesterday that has eased most of my concerns about this game. I'll still reserve my final decision about this until I have played the beta.

On a related matter, does anyone know if a paid in full pre-order through the PSN store can be cancelled prior to release for a full refund?? I don't want to pre-order this way and be stuck with the game if it ends up being a big turd, LOL!! I'll go the Gamestop pre-order route if so.

Game's still a go for me but there's disappointing news that's recently come out. The Division will only take place in a single borough of New York and will not include Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx or Staten Island.

It's quite possible that DLCs expansion packs may be offered in the future since the original fight was shown in Brooklyn.

That tells me that if the demo had Brooklyn, then down the road thru DLC you'll get the others.

If you're just looking for the beta code, you can pre order through Amazon, get the code via email, then cancel your pre order since it doesn't charge your card until it ships. When I pre ordered I got my code like 5 minutes later and then canceled the pre order.

It has a $40 season pass. My guess is other areas of NYC are coming.

Has anything been said about end-game PVE content yet? I've only previously seen a mention of dark zones being the end game and that doesn't interest me.

I preordered from Amazon so I could get into the beta without paying anything upfront. Anyone that wants to play it without having to hunt down a code should do the same.

That's a given, but till those come out I would want something equivalent to raids. Not sure the realistic settings lends itself to all the stuff they come up with for Destiny raids though.

Seems like a lot of different opinions on what type of game this really is. After watching the IGN, I'm just excited to play it with some friends.

Also should be interesting to see how many knuckleheads go rouge and start killing players. Sounds like they implemented a cool way to eliminating those same knuckleheads.

Yeah my time with the Alpha was great. Met yons of friendly people in darkzones. I mean there were times where there were rogues and time our group went rougue but they were fun.

Yeah, I will probably pre-order with Amazon as well. Pretty safe way, in case of any negative surprises with this game when it drops. I still can't shake the Destiny debacle from my memory, lol
