im playing mafia for PC using the XBOX adapter, I cant figure out how to get the settings right for outside the vehicle controls. everytime i try to move the camera goes crazy just spinning around and i get killed, anyone know what buttons to set as out of vehicle controls?

I have no experience using Mafia with a controller. But with GTA Vice City I use a controller like a PS2 one. And sometimes the camera spins out of control to. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. I did that and it works fine now. -
