i understand where olec is coming from because i was in that discussion he brought up a while ago but come on. Some people can distinguish from reality and entertainment. And if you cant then you shouldn't be playin the games. I mean if someone read a book about vampires theres no problem with that. But if that same person read the book and started living their life as if they were a vampire going out at nights and drinking blood, then that person has issues and shouldnt be reading vampire books. Because if this is bad, then i guess we should go after kids who imagine themselves playing cowboys and indians and having fun because they are recreating actual battles that left many killed. They aren't recreating anything. They are just having fun. I am sure there are sickos out there that take it beyond a certain level but when i play FPS i'm not thinking someone in real life should die like the way i'm playing this game. And games based on history are no different. Its still historical fiction..........meaning its not real. Its not recreating a real event. Its not recreating a real death. Its all fake, only in a somewhat historically accurate setting. And its not meant to be anything but entertainment. I dont even play many FPS but I dont have a problem with them. I understand Olec's point of view completely but i just cant completely agree with it.
