AND, my absolute favorite childhood game:

    SUPER BASEBALL SIMULATOR 1000

I played so many freakin seasons on that game with my dad it's not even funny. I loved the game right to death, but lost the damn cartidge about a year ago. I used to LOVE that game and play it endlessly. Still my favorite baseball game ever, and not even for nostalgia reasons. It was simply the most fun I had EVER had with a baseball game....hell, ANY game that I can recall. God, I miss that game

I played River City Ransom a ton, and still play it occassionally now. Looking forward to the GBA release due this summer.

I can't believe I only saw Super Dodge Ball mentioned once. It's my all time favorite NES game, but what do I know?

Other great ones were Mario 2 & 3, Little League Baseball, Contra, Spy Hunter, Turtles 2, River City Ransom, Castlevania, Ghosts & Goblins, Punchout, Gunsmoke....I could go on forever.
