    Damn, Sam and Max was cancelled.

    Yet another sequel to a classic game LucasArts has failed to complete.

    Luckily, I have some special information from a friend of mine. He e-mailed me an official transcript from inside a meeting at LucasArts.

    Producer: So... how's Sam and Max 2 coming along?

    Lead Programmer: It's going great. We're about 85% complete and are looking at a Q4 release this year.

    ~George Lucas busts into the board room~

    Lucas: I want you all to stop production on everything that is not Star Wars related! As you know, Episode 3 is coming out in 2005 and I want you all to focus your attention on making more Hoth and Endor missions for another Rogue Squadron game. I was thinking you should play as Ewoks in the next one.

    Producer: So you don't want us to start work on a game based on Episode 3?

    Lucas: NO! Not yet. We still have a good year to rehash old scenarios and planets from episodes IV,V, and VI.

    ~Lucas does some LSD~

    Lucas: Also! Start work on a Galaxies: Expansion Pack. Don't really include anything new except for more dance steps for the Wookie and an Indiana Jones skin.

    Programmer: I can't believe you're making us scrap all that code because you can't stop milking a 27 year old cow.

    Lucas: It is my vision! My vision will not be compromised! You shall not backtalk the Almighty Lucas!

    ~Lucas eats the programmer's face~

    Lucas: Intern! You will now program my vision! Make the Wookie dance!

                  Too bad, I was keeping tabs on it to see if it would be a worthy purchase.

                  Lucas is the worst director ever. I don't care what anyone says. He's milked three movies and destroyed his image as a result.

                              I have. I don't think I was born when the game came out but I vaguely remember seeing a cartoon or something that had sam and max in it.

                              If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
