New Red Dead game

With GTA V finally (almost) released, what do you guys think the outlook is for another RDR game? Surely we wouldn't see another one within the year, but my spurs are getting dusty and I've got too much .32 MAG ammo laying around.

I apologize if this has been posted recently; did a search and couldn't find anything.

I think we will see one, but It's probably going to be a few years.

well, i mean its been 3 years since the last release, i wouldn't be surprised if its announced next year at some point, and released in 2015.

Is Agent still being made? It was announced like in 2006/2007, I think it got canned

According to the Wiki, they renewed the trademarks in July of this year. I guess thats more than we can say about RDR...

Agent and Bully both had trademarks recently renewed. Personally, I definitely want another Bully.

Red Dead Redemption was, in my humble opinion, the best game of this generation bar none. I couldn't wait for it to come out when I originally first heard about it, and the second one can't get here fast enough. I have no idea if there are plans for a second one or not, but I think they'd be crazy not to (I thought it was a very profitable game for them?).

If not a next generation version of Bully, my pick would be a Mob game set in Chicago that runs from pre-prohibition through the 60's when the Mob was at it's strongest.

But that's not to say I wouldn't love another Red Dead.

I'm secretly hoping Rockstar goes in a new direction. I'd love to see them take on a future world with their level of detail. But it'd definitely be gritty, something like a Cowboy Bebop vibe.

I actually thought about that for a future GTA game. they have done the present, done the past, will they tackle the future. With that said, I dont think Red Dead would be that game as I am thinking this is their "wild west" game. I think the setting of the old west, cowboys,etc is alot of what made red dead so popular, I dont think they would change that. If they were going to do a game in a "future" setting, theyd probably come up with a new game all together.
