Online seems to have gotten worse these past two days on the 360. Sessions timing out, random kicks, slowed down vehicles. Just awful.

Might be PS3 also. I just "finished" a race and it had me stuck in camera mode at the finish line. Pause didn't work so I had to exit out with the PS buttonAaron

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I guess I got off too soon last night
I rage quit after my car got impounded by the cops for like the 3rd straight time and also after being destroyed like 4 times throughout the night (once on purpose)
But it was fun. Me and Dayman tried all sorts of stunts with our bikes on top of a parking garage.
Jerry can flames do not last nearly long enough. I wanted to do an Evel Knievel style jump but the flames always burned out before I even got to the jump...and we literally shot the trail and as soon as the trail made it to the jump I accelerated.
We got one funny picture of when I put 5 sticky bombs covered in jerry can gas next to a jeep on the jump; and my plan was to make it to the jump just after the car exploded, so I would ride through the flames. But I timed it wrong.
Somehow, Dayman got the picture of me still alive, even though I died as soon as the thing explodedEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
What's up fellas.
I mostly post on the FIFA forums but I'm taking a break because GTA Online sucked me in. I see you guys already have a crew going and I was wondering if you're still adding members. I can't setup a crew with my friends because most of them aren't playing online or when I play and I'm tired of playing with randoms.
I play on 360, GT: The Kingpin187XBL GT: The Kingpin187Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I heard the new patch nerfed missions 9K payouts and above. Like halved them. Base invaders only 12.5K. Titan of a job only being 5K now. This is coming from my buddy playing, as I'm at work right now. But that's all I've heard about the update so far..

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I got kicked from a session last night when I first signed on (though I did manage to collect a bounty before that), but was ok the rest of the night.
What stats affect the bicycle races? Is it more than just stamina?

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I feel like I haven't played this game in over a week.
I feel like the commercials, previews, etc. really sold me on GTA: Online and it hasn't lived up to my expectations at all. I'll probably jump in for a bit tonight and try to knock out some of my missions, but I was just expecting better quality missions and things to do earlier than I've got them.
The cooler missions I've played were all from being invited from some OSers who are in the 30s+ range and I'm somewhere around 17 I think.
Running in circles around the city for $2000 a pop just doesn't do it for me. I don't want to have to play Survival missions just to make some decent bank.
I hope it won't be much longer before Heists are implemented. The collecting and returning drugs and cars bit was played out for me almost immediately.
I know I've probably come off as super-negative about this game, but I really did love the story and thought it was shorter than I had anticipated. I just can't seem to play the online for more than an hour or so before It starts getting repetitive for me. Some of that may just be my own fault.
For any of you that have been playing this religiously, how long does it take to start getting offers for better missions ?Last edited by AUChase; 10-18-2013, 10:22 AM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Forgot to mention. You also level up nicely when you do a bunch of stuff with crew members. You get a certain % bonus on RP for completing all things with your crew.Comment
