Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I don't know why they're so insistent on making acquiring cash the most difficult thing that's ever been. And of course, as I mentioned awhile ago, everything is expensive as **** too. Well, actually I think I do know, but it makes me sad.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
No problem over here with any of the changes. Just means the player has to do different missions and activities instead of the same old things over and over.
I'm glad money will become harder to come by. Makes you have to work for it harder. Besides, acquiring large chunks of money will become easier with heists and the stock market still to come. Lets not forget the $500,000 we will be getting for free.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I really think it's to make the heists more appealing.
Let's say your crew can make $500K in 1 heist alone, but that heists takes over an hour to complete. Lots of people will be turned off by the fact that it may be longer or harder to complete than one of the character missions.
If I could make $25,000 in less than 1 minute doing the same mission over and over again, why would I spend an hour doing a heist, when I could easily make the same amount of money or more in the same amount of time?
The biggest part of GTA:O is Heists. I think they're preparing that by making the lesser known character missions less relevant.
It's kind of like robbing gas stations. When GTA:O first came out, EVERYONE was robbing gas stations. That was the only way to make a quick buck. But as soon as people started leveling up and opening missions that paid $5000 or more, then robbing gas stations seemed petty to what you were receiving doing the mission. I feel that will be the same way we'll feel about these character missions once heists are finally released.Comment

None of them are quick. If people want to burn half an hour on Survival for 20 grand or die 5 times in Base Invaders for 25 grand, more power to them I say.
They've fixed any quick ways to get a ****load of money, I don't see the problem.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

The only thing I could see being an issue is that I think it will make it harder for some to find people to complete missions with them if everyone is much farther along in the story.Comment

Play with me bro. I don't have a mic and I don't plan on getting one either. If I need to communicate I just drop a text message.Comment

I keep having to sync my headsets over and over again.
It's different putting the voice of some OSers together with what I know about them from here.. lol.
You can ask anyone from the Battlefield Crew on both 360 and PS3 about how southern I sound.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Question about losing $500 on death...do they mean that's what you drop when you die, or is that what's taken out of your bank account for hospital bills?
I regularly lost around 2k pre-patch to hospital bills whenever I got wasted, plus whatever I happened to drop on the ground (which is never much because I bank almost immediately)Comment

I can see this becoming a problem for me. I haven't even completed the first Lester mission yet.Comment

GTA Online is gonna be over for me October 29. And the only reason I'll even play GTA online from now until then is bc BF4 isn't out yet.
Rockstar is not good at online portions of GTA.Eagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
That would be awesome. Imagine starting a heist with your crew, and then you are randomly picked to be the 'rat'. You have to secretly botch the heist without tipping off your crew members. If you are successful you get the whole payout!Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
So looks like the mission payouts are a little deceiving.
You will still get the full payout IF the mission you're playing is the first time you're playing it.
The more times you play the mission, the less money you receive.
Has anyone gotten the "You have reached the maximum amount of RP for this activity"?
I got it for Survival last night.Comment

I bought a Sanchez and there's a parking garage with a jump on top of it 0.20 miles away from my apartment.
Oh... this is going to be fun.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
