Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
It happened to me. The only thing I could think of is that I had a full garage already. So I had to replace an existing car before I could put the newly modded Sultan in my garage. I think maybe when I replaced the car, it defaulted the car back.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Man, the thread has slowed down, and it seemed to be a pretty slow OS night last night - not many online when I was on for a few hours (I'm guessing maybe the World Series had something to do with this?).
Had my first attempt at the Lester mission, "Last Chopper Outta LS" (or something along those lines) last night. It's 2 players only, splits the 2 up, so one guy has to go to a roof vantage point, the other guy has to go to a series of rooftops that leads to a helicopter you have to steal, and you both have to clear the way to the chopper.
Well, my friend I was playing with was the vantage point guy, and kept dying, pretty quickly. So I was left to clear the path to the chopper myself. First time, got the chopper, barely got it landed back at Lester's warehouse (with a chopper of theirs chasing / shooting at me)... only to find that there was another swarm of them waiting for me at the warehouse. Dead.
Tried it a second time, landed the chopper too roughly and it exploded.
The third time, landed it, fended off about half of the guys at the warehouse, but couldn't get a decent cover spot and they overwhelmed me.
I'm guessing it'd be a bit easier if the second guy didn't keep dying right away.Comment

BTW, do I have to be a part of the OS Crew to play with you guys? I like playing with other "clean" players such as myself, mostly missions and whatnot, but already have a crew, even though I'm pretty much the only one who plays online anyway.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I'm always the sniper in that mission and instead of getting to the vantage point, I get on the last level of the parking lot right next to it. Helps I have a sniper though, because other weapons can't reach me and I can kill almost everyone. There's a couple of guys the other dude has to kill himself because I can't see them from either vantage point. Then I just get on my car and drive to the warehouse to fend the others off.

Honestly (and this is not just blowing smoke) - I've not met / played with any other OS crew member yet where I thought "Man, what a ****." It's always been a great experience, and I've added several new users to my PSN friends list because of it. It makes the game much more enjoyable knowing that I can always rely on playing with other players who like to do it the "right" way.Comment

12 cars in a circle, last one running wins. No weapons, no bombs, just rams.
Maybe add big high speed ramps to make ramming more fun.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Yeah, you can be in up to 5 crews I believe, and switch your active crew in game as necessary. I'm in a crew that is currently just two of my friends and I, but we are also all three in the OS Crew. We rarely switch to our own crew tag anymore. If it's just me on and they are not on, I do missions with the other OS'ers. If we are all three on, we'll start a mission with the three of us, and then we send an invite out to the other OS crew members who are on. Good times ensue.

BTW, my Sultan, it seems pretty popular around here.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
That's the reason I'd love to play with you guys, because I've been reading back and it seems like it's all cool people that just want to have some fun. I don't even play on open servers anymore because of the bad sports out there, always invite only and mostly missions on my own.
I played the other night with Rawdeal and StrongTakeover and had an absolute blast...the last part Mabster joined us on a survival mission.
What's also cool,is it seems we have an "honor" code also....if somebody has a bounty on them when they join and if one of us gets the kill,we will split the money between us.
It's really a great time, and one you should definitely get in on.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
