How the hell can u get out of tutorial this is bull crap can't do missions bc people kill u And u can't even play with friends and don't saydo the bluemarkers bc they don't go away

I have been playing on and off all day with no issues as far as connectivity in general. However, I can't seem to figure out how to play with anybody on my friends list or any of the OS crew members. Every time I try to join a lobby or game with someone I know it says that the game is full and ends up putting me in a new game with randoms. What am I doing wrong here?

I'm on 360 if it matters.

I can't even switch between Trevor, Michael, and Franklin now. It's restarting my game if I try to switch characters at all, much less try to get online. *** **** this is annoying.

Can we not play sports yet? I'm trying to find out how to golf with my buddy, but driving around over there brings up nothing.

I think I have to delete the entire game, including my single player progress. About ready to just give up on this game if all of my hours slaving over the single player mode are now destroyed.

You can, but you can only have one active crew at a time. I think three is what you can be in.

After having waited from release this morning till now (trying at different intervals through out the day) I have tried everything to get the first mission loaded....

Regular online
Solo
Closed friends session
Holding every button combination while it loads
Making a new character
Etc

Yet I can't even get the first mission to load.

Even though I expected growing pains and some server issues. I am going to call this a colossal failure for a few reasons.

1. Some people are having problems while others have not seen a single problem. This suggest that there is a few things code wise that aren't agreeing with hardware or something of the like messing up online loading correctly.
2. They had 2 weeks after release to work on this including the entire development process. Those saying they were surprised with the numbers hitting the servers were incorrect, they had the numbers to go off of. Unlike a game like Diablo or Simcity that didn't have the luxury of being able to plan for how many people had already purchased the game.
3. Games like Diablo and Simcity were called failures at launch because of the issues they faced. So you can't tell me they didn't have foreshadowing to prepare their servers correctly.
4. While they warned that there would be issues, they didn't warn in the last bit that it would literally be unplayable for most.
5. The biggest and most frustrating of all my reasons. This could have easily been avoided. By making the tutorials mandatory (especially opening the game on a tutorial) they solidified this as being completely unplayable in online mode until the fix the issue. Even though we possibly might not be able to compete in jobs or missions, if they hadn't made the tutorials mandatory those that are having problems would at least be able to join with friends and play free mode.

All those things considered I don't know how you don't consider this a failure and unless they fix this very quickly (I'm talking about a week max) many people are going to consider the entire game a failure (even though offline mode was extremely fun) because the entire idea of this game was built around the idea of the multilayer aspect.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping this gets fixed soon.

The sports, strip clubs, movie theaters and such show up over time.
