Made a character and it threw me into a random session with no cutscene or tutorial or anything. Tried joining my friend's session and it says Cloud Servers aren't available. So, so frustrating, especially when all my friends can connect no problem. The sad part is that it isn't my connection that's the problem; I have better internet than them.

I've found a pretty decent way to make money is stealing and selling cars. There are a few you can get between 8000-9000 for. You can do this once every in game day which i like 48ish minutes.

Edit: Also, started a closed crew session I'm going to be messing around in freemode for a while if anyone wants to hop in to steal some cars and rob some convenience stores with me. You can add me on PSN if you want dominick324

There are delivery missions for Simeon that can be very lucrative too, but what he's referring to is just bringing a stolen car (or your own) into Los Santos Customs. You have the option of selling it.

Any car you take into a mod shop can be sold. You get 10% of what the car sells for new if you look at the car dealerships.

Yeah I'm on. Just working on robbing stores and doing some Simeon and Gerald missions for now to try and get some cash and level up.

Oh...that's deflating. Mine shows absolutely nothing for my online character, besides all the money I had earned / spent...

I'm probably done with Online if it is reset. At least for a while. Zero interest in starting from scratch with that much time in already..

EDIT: Nope. Finally loaded. But it's a level one with zero'd stats. The only thing I have is my apartment.

At least you kept the Apt Shak3.

I'll be on in about 15 min or so myself. Was doing survival earlier with Cam and made some fast money & levels.

lol online randoms booting me from lobby because 3 were after me for $5000 random bounty (missions unlocked) they couldnt catch me simply reversing routes

Got my first taste of survivor. Loved it. Played for all of 30 minutes and that combined with a mission and I made over $20,000. Wish I had more time today.

So yea....after a round of survivor last night (we had met a new player) Rawdeal and myself decided to go to the local store and load up on snacks and get ready for our next round.

I hop in the car with Raw,and he proceeds to attempt to rub my (female) character's legs on the way to the store...lmao,so we get there and decide that after we're done buying our snacks,we were going to rob the dude.

What happened next was pure comedy...both of us are yelling at the cashier,with some nice "choice" words...lol we get the money,and I bolt out of the store...but wait...where's Raw? well lo and behold...he's still in the store robbing the other cash register,and getting the $17....all the while I'm yelling at him to "c'mon...we got the cops on us"...then I hear "BOOM"....well needless to say,the cashier won't be around for the sequel....lol

Just a quick heads up...don't ever ride with Raw if the heat's on...lol,don't believe me? go ahead and give it a try...lmao

Ever since I got killed by a cashier after I robbed him and was walking out of the store, I always shoot them in the face now after I finish robbing them.
