Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Last night I had this happen to me:
We were playing a mission where you have to ambush a drug meet, check the GPS on the car, and then hack a laptop, head to the hangar, and then parachute into this mansion.
Both times one of the players shot my tires so I was driving on at least one rim to the drug meet. The rest of the mission is okay, but nobody waited for the rest to get to different locations. I catch up at the hangar and help clear out the enemies and vehicles there. Apparently you don't automatically get a parachute when you enter an airplane as I found out when I had to jump out because the pilot dived out.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Random people never use any sort of tactic or stealth.. It's all run up in the middle of a bunch of guys and die and cost lives.
I'll end up getting bad sport soon because I've quit a few times where the person was annoying me.Comment

I must just be lucky then because nothing like this has happened to me when someone outside of the OS crew has done a mission with me.Last night I had this happen to me:

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I'm sure the 360 user bases have a higher rate of worthless randoms, though.
The other missions have been good honestly. The only time randoms annoy me are essentially contained in free-roam.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Either that, or be really quick with the passive mode entry (hold select and go down to passive mode, costs $100). You could still be killed by someone running you over, though. Here's a tip with randoms.. If you finish a mission, and you get to the new game selection screen, do not choose Free Play. If you choose that, you and everyone else that chooses that spawn at the same spot. If you press B and just quit the match, it will take you back to the original location before you started the mission.
FWIW, I consider those target vehicles as fair game. Everyone on the map sees those - it's not really much different from a bounty. I wouldn't kill a crew member who was moving one though, obviously.
This game is the worst online with randoms. Last night I finally found one of the rare cars(bike) for Simeon and this guy jacks me for it. I end up getting it back after he kills himself riding, but then he just waits by the dock to pop me in the head and steal my money. So I took his ride up the mountains full speed and watched it roll!
You could still drive it, so I didn't get charge by his insurance.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
That's true, and I'd probably do the same thing. But this guy sat by the garage until I brought car in. And this was probably 20-30 minutes after he died from driving it into a wall. I was in LSC getting it repainted, and I knew he was waiting for me outside. So I stayed inside and grabbed a quick snack to eat and have a smoke break. I come back, noticed he's not waiting for me (didn't bother checking the player list) so I just drove to the garage to drop it off. As I get there, I see a blip and before I could check to see who the player was.. Dead.
I eventually killed him as he was taking my bike into the garage. The bike wasn't all the way inside and the door was open so I thought I could still make the drop, but it wouldn't let me ride the bike.
I wouldn't have cared if he took the bike and cashed it in, but for him to sit there and wait for me is pretty lame. It's like those random idiots that run you over as you exit a gas station robbery. All they're doing is watching and waiting for you to do all the hard work.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
So let me ask. When you boot the game up in single player if you don't see your MP avatar the servers are down right? Because if I lost my character WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING SINCE IT WORKED LAST I'm going to be furious.HELLO BROOKYLN.
