Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Also, was up until 6:30 this morning doing one of Lester's missions with my brother's roommate lol. Took us 2.5-3 hours to finish three missions last night. It was so intense and so rewarding when we completed them.
The first was the one where you have to climb up that huge construction site and steal a briefcase. The second was the one where you have to kill the DEA guy at his house that's surrounded by 50 guards, and the third was the one where you had to steal the private jet and then clear the runway before landing the plane. The latter was so sick. I parachuted out of the plane, hijacked an SUV and came cruising down the runway. There was about 5 SUVs/cars waiting for the plane so that they could blow it up, so I threw a couple sticky bombs while driving by and detonated them, leaving a gigantic explosion just as my partner came flying down the runway and landed amidst all the smoke and fire.
Also, ended up going from 100K to 30K last night from buying a sniper, suppressor, and advanced scope, along with tons of armor from the second mission lol.NFL: Bills

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I'm kinda losing interest as well because there is no reliable way to make a bunch of cash to get the apartments for the heists that aren't even available yet
$20K for a survival match that takes like 45 mins - an hour to finish? And to reach $200K for an apartment? That's 10 survival matches not counting expenses which can be a TON. Just too slow IMOEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Also, you can sell a car every hour I believe, so go to that area where there's a hair salon across the street from the clothing store (in single player, you can always find a Bugatti here I believe) and steal a nice car from that area. If you get a Felon or the Felon GT, you can sell that for like 9,000 each hour. So between missions and selling a car each hour, you can probably make up to 40,000 or so in an hour (if some of the semi-easy missions are still paying 9,000.
My brother raised 200K for the luxury apartment in one night, while the other 3 of us got up to 150K or so (but unfortunately, I've spent about 120K of it on a nice sniper rifle, car insurance, and bulletproof tires (which is so nice btw; helps a ton when trying to get away from randoms/helicoptors).NFL: Bills

Ooo a sniper is going to come in handy when I get matched w random online. Don't run towards me and if you do, prepare to be shot in the face from a distance.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I kinda like that it takes so long to generate a mass amount of money. Everyone being able to have the nicer things right off the bat takes the fun out of it. What would be the point in trying to level up to 50 and above if money was so easily obtainable before being on that level.Comment

Also, the missions are starting to get really fun and are paying out better now that I'm up to 25. If you see me invite you to one, please come help! Problem is I don't have a mic. Does anyone know where I can procure a helicopter without much hassle? Need one for a Lester mission.
Also, sorry to whoever I was playing with on the mission where you blow up all the cop stuff. We were in great position, and I completely botched the grenade throw at the prison bus. SMH, we were on point until I did that.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 10-10-2013, 02:01 PM.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I like it too. I'm glad not everyone is just running around with grenade launchers and a seemingly endless supply of ammo for them.

Trevor's Runway out in Sandy Shores. There is always a helicopter there and never any problem taking it.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I don't mind that it takes forever to get good guns and that ammo is expensive.
It's the other crap that they charge you a billiondy dollars for, like the aforementioned Race Yellow, that bothers me. I like to tinker with my cars a lot, change up my look, and I can't really do that.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
