Also, was up until 6:30 this morning doing one of Lester's missions with my brother's roommate lol. Took us 2.5-3 hours to finish three missions last night. It was so intense and so rewarding when we completed them.

The first was the one where you have to climb up that huge construction site and steal a briefcase. The second was the one where you have to kill the DEA guy at his house that's surrounded by 50 guards, and the third was the one where you had to steal the private jet and then clear the runway before landing the plane. The latter was so sick. I parachuted out of the plane, hijacked an SUV and came cruising down the runway. There was about 5 SUVs/cars waiting for the plane so that they could blow it up, so I threw a couple sticky bombs while driving by and detonated them, leaving a gigantic explosion just as my partner came flying down the runway and landed amidst all the smoke and fire.

Also, ended up going from 100K to 30K last night from buying a sniper, suppressor, and advanced scope, along with tons of armor from the second mission lol.

I'm kinda losing interest as well because there is no reliable way to make a bunch of cash to get the apartments for the heists that aren't even available yet

$20K for a survival match that takes like 45 mins - an hour to finish? And to reach $200K for an apartment? That's 10 survival matches not counting expenses which can be a TON. Just too slow IMO

Ooo a sniper is going to come in handy when I get matched w random online. Don't run towards me and if you do, prepare to be shot in the face from a distance.

I really think they designed the game with the idea of people turning real money into GTA money at the core of it. EVERYTHING is expensive.

It's like 20 grand if I want to paint my car ****ing Race Yellow.

              Which sucks. A lot.

There's a link somewhere that shows how much money you make from each mission online. There at least used to be a few that would make 9,000 a mission while not being very difficult. That was before the patch though. Last night, I did the same missions but was only making 5,000.

Also, you can sell a car every hour I believe, so go to that area where there's a hair salon across the street from the clothing store (in single player, you can always find a Bugatti here I believe) and steal a nice car from that area. If you get a Felon or the Felon GT, you can sell that for like 9,000 each hour. So between missions and selling a car each hour, you can probably make up to 40,000 or so in an hour (if some of the semi-easy missions are still paying 9,000.

My brother raised 200K for the luxury apartment in one night, while the other 3 of us got up to 150K or so (but unfortunately, I've spent about 120K of it on a nice sniper rifle, car insurance, and bulletproof tires (which is so nice btw; helps a ton when trying to get away from randoms/helicoptors).

It helps a ton on missions too. When I play with my dad, brother, and roommate, we usually surround whoever we need to attack, have one sniper on each side, and then the other two go in on the ground and we provide cover. It's so nice to be able to find a hill somewhere and just pick guys off from above while someone else goes in to grab the briefcase or whatever we need to get.

Sticky bombs are also a huge help.

I kinda like that it takes so long to generate a mass amount of money. Everyone being able to have the nicer things right off the bat takes the fun out of it. What would be the point in trying to level up to 50 and above if money was so easily obtainable before being on that level.

I like it too. I'm glad not everyone is just running around with grenade launchers and a seemingly endless supply of ammo for them.

Also, the missions are starting to get really fun and are paying out better now that I'm up to 25. If you see me invite you to one, please come help! Problem is I don't have a mic. Does anyone know where I can procure a helicopter without much hassle? Need one for a Lester mission.

Also, sorry to whoever I was playing with on the mission where you blow up all the cop stuff. We were in great position, and I completely botched the grenade throw at the prison bus. SMH, we were on point until I did that.

I agree with this 100%. I like how you start with a pistol and have to earn your way up, you put the time in it should show. If everyone was running around with rocket launchers it would suck, but if you do see someone with one you know that person put in work and you better RUN!

I don't mind that it takes forever to get good guns and that ammo is expensive.

It's the other crap that they charge you a billiondy dollars for, like the aforementioned Race Yellow, that bothers me. I like to tinker with my cars a lot, change up my look, and I can't really do that.
