I don't hate it if I'm doing nothing, but I'm almost always in the middle of something when they decide to mess with me.

I don't think it's weird by any means. It's just not for everyone. Like me personally, I'd rather run those missions with my friends and crew, and not get interfered with by the randoms. I've had a ton of fun so far doing the missions with crew and friends.

And, I don't mind the occasional, "Ok, I'm in a free roam, let's cause some chaos here. You, over there… We're coming for you." You kill the guy, and if he spawns and comes after you, you've got a battle on your hands, no problem there. What I don't like (and what seems to happen quite a bit from reading forums and such) is what the story that was posted earlier. Cheap stuff, like killing a guy after he helped you complete a mission to take his money.

I don't know… I don't mind it occasionally either if you're running with a couple guys and start mixing it up a bit with a couple others. My friends and I had some good times in RDR Online that way. But, if the other party said, or acted as if they didn’t want to be a part of it, we'd let them go do their thing.

Can someone clarify the mercenary guys? If is there anyway to kill enough of them so they stop coming after you or do you just keep coming until you die?

I like free roaming with randoms as well, but only if it's set to free aim. It's ridiculous playing with randoms on auto aim as you can't even speed down the street past them without getting headshotted. Much more satisfying taking someone out using free aim as opposed to the non stop grieving by players on auto aim.

Haha, yes you can. Free aim is awful in this game. I'm bad at free aim as it is, but when it works like it does in this game, I would just be killed every time.

I don't know, it might be just cause I'm normally placed in higher level lobbies. Everyone in the game is equipped with either a carbine rifle or an advance rifle. I can't even drive past someone in my coquette without dying right away. On free aim, there's much less people who just shoot anyone on sight as they can't just quickly tap LT and fire.

Another thing, the NPC's need to miss their shots more often. It feels like they have 95% accuracy

Anybody had your player fall to the center of the Earth in the Chasers II mission? Its a annoying yet funny glitch.

Yeah, I only use free aim. Refuse to change it to anything else.

You pretty much have to use auto aim in Online or you're streets behind.

I realize you want to stay loyal to the more, I guess sim way of aiming, but people are going to slaughter you every time they get the chance.

I couldn't get into a good rhythm in Survival last night. Still, we got close on that last one. I think that map works best when there are two people out in the plane-yard area (where I was on the roof) and the other two people out towards the open area of the map where all the vehicles roll in (there is a building up against a wall that is great cover from choppers).

If I had my minigun on me those choppers wouldn't have been a problem.

I laughed my *** off when we both DNF'd that parachute jump under the bridge. Ha. No way in hell.

Are you planning on getting on tonight? I want to raise some funds so I can customize my new bike.
If you're talking about the Boneyard Survival, I've beat it with just me and another OSer. As long as you both can hold down your side if the barn, easy 20k!

Only time I use free aim is during missions/survival mode...
